She followed Janet from her home to the streets of the WestEnd. She wanted to help, really....but...did Janet have to wake her up in the wee hours of the morning to start' She could have just told her tomorrow, and Storm would have gladly picked a night er, morning to do this.
Plus, the girl was quiet the entire way. Storm had a yawn here and there after the considerably rude awakening, but not a peep out of the Scathachian.
They finally walked into a dark alley, perhaps where other shadows in the night were lurking. Janet then turned to Storm, and offered an easy smile. "If you are truly joining us Storm, it is time that I taught you to fight like us. You're element will not be enough."
Storm studied up at her friend. Oh by the Goddess...training" Right now" She rubs her eyes. "Janet, I can hold my own, without my element. I have dedicated my physical training to the simply fact that I could always be without...but....I will have time to rest and be prepared..."
Sadly, the Air didn't have a chance. Janet, getting irritated with her words, pounced on Storm again. Once more, a tangle of limbs as each struggled for the top. "No Storm...you must be....ready for ....anything." And boom! Janet had Storm's hand binded above her head, legs bracing against her own. Since Janet outweighs Storm, her eyes started to glow grey.
"No, do not resort to that, try a different way."
Storm sneered in her face. "I will not deny my birthright for your sake." Miffed, she uses the air to grab Janet and break her grasp on her, dropping her on the ground. She then stands up. "I am what I am, Janet. I should use my advantages."
Janet could well fight off the air, so she plopped on the ground with an angered sigh. "Let me show you, what it is like to be helpless and without, then you might understand. Lay down." She stands up, waiting.
Storm glared at her for a moment, and then complied. Might as well make the best of this, right' She went down, and was on her back, looking up at Janet, thinking of what was to come.
