Knock, knock, knock-knock. Isuelt's knuckles rapped against the doors to Chi's chambers. It was later in the morning, Isuelt had waited this long because she knew that the young warrior was out late the night before patrolling.

"Chi" Chi, you awake" It's Illea. Can I talk to you?" She sighed heavily as she leaned against the door, going over her recent treatment of the girl. There was little sound from within, and Isuelt figured that Chi was ignoring her. And she might be right to. "Chi, I'm sorry for jumping down your throat about the Brian thing. He's...he's very good at what he's been doing lately. I'm just...I just didn't want you getting too close, I don't know what he's capable of and I feel responsible for you." Her voice lowered so that she was speaking to herself as she stared across the hallway, "I feel responsible for all of you."

Another deep sigh and she knocked once more, this time quietly. Naked knuckles on the darkly stained maple. Isuelt's voice as well was quieter now, "Chi" I have a job for you."

The sounds of Issy's knuckles against her door brought her out of her thoughts, out of all that had been swimming in her mind. Ignore it. She wanted too. And for a good while she did. Even after the older woman had apoligized. It was so easy to do when you were upset, wasn't it". It was Issy's last words though, that finally bent her, and caused her to drag herself from the confines of her bed.

Slowly, she crept towards the door, her short legs making surprisingly quick work of the distance from her bed and to the door. Slowly. she pulled it open, and peered out at Issy.

"What is it?"

Her voice? It was soft, gentle, and perhaps full of her frustrations of everything that had been going on.

Isuelt's long body snapped to attention as the door was ushered open. She licked her lips and cleared her throat lightly. Isuelt knew that she had been taking her frustrations out on those around her; and that simply would not do. Her Sisters and allies were the ones who she would need to lean on more so now than ever before; and pushing them away with her own embittered moods was a mistake.

The older Scathachian inhaled and let her breath out in a long sigh as she regrouped herself to look upon the raven haired Chi. "You have a gift, I've heard," She began cautiously. Isuelt made no move to enter Chi's private chambers, yet she did not move aside to allow the younger priestess to walk away and dismiss her. "I...I've had it that you....you can manipulate fire." It was an idea that had piqued Isuelt's interest; and not just because of the new developments of Temple Bhaal and their warriors. The statuesque brunette watched Chi for another moment, taking her silence to mean that she was at least listening to her. "I have a job for you," Isuelt repeated. "As you know, Temple Bhaal has found their way to enlist a fire dancer into their ranks. And for this, we have little to no protection besides the newest shields that we have had made from Mister Kruger. However, Mister Ilnaren, has told me that he has under his custody a young girl who has a gift like you. She is young and untested. A mere sixteen years of age," here Isuelt paused, the knot in her stomach begged her to not drag this girl into the fray. She took another breath as she backed away from Chi and leaned against the wall opposite Chi's chamber door. "Her name is Narisa and Mister Ilnaren says she is an admirer of our Order and wishes to help. While it is not in my nature to take on children, untrained or otherwise, as fodder for warfare, I am worried that as Mister Ilnaren alluded, she may go off to try and aid us without the benefit of any real training and get herself hurt. I, frankly, would also secretly be praying that this girl could be taught a thing or two about how to use her gift and use it on our side. And I thought that you might be able to help her with it."

There was a long moment's pause silenced her lips as she let Chi take in what she was saying. "What do you think?"

She stayed silent as Issy spoke about the girl, though the mention of her caused her eyes to widen a bit. She didn't think that she'd ever meet someone else that had her ability. So, instead of hardly listening....her attention was all on Issy, listening to her words. Once she signaled that she was done speaking with her last question, she shifted, and cleared her throat slightly.

It took a moment to sink in. Issy wanted her to help train the girl, teach her how to control the fire within. Finally, she grinned.

"I think, Illea, That I'll help. I think it'll be nice to know someone who shares my ability. and show her how to use it herself."

Her eyes raised to meet the own of the woman Across the hall from her.

"When do I start?"

Narisa swallowed heavily as she listened to Ebon explain the conditions of Isuelt's agreement to provide her with training. Frankly the prospect of meeting the tall, imposing warrior priestess both frightened and thrilled her. "She'll talk with me?"

"Yes, with me there as well." The psion had been looking out the window of the manor house, but as he spoke he turned his dark gaze on her. "Narisa, I want you to understand something. What you're volunteering for is not a game, or even a one-time battle such as we fought during Travanix' attack on the city. This struggle between the forces of Scathach and Bhaal is nothing less than a war. Hopefully it will be a secret war in the minds of the city as a while, but it will be war nonetheless. Do you really think you're ready to be part of such a thing?"

The teenaged girl let her auburn hair fall forward as she looked down, contemplating his words. "You've told us about your war, Sai Ebon, and you were younger than I am now when you first learned to fight it. I want to help." Looking up once more, Narisa's eyes flashed orange for a moment before settling back to their normal brown. "Don't you trust me?"

"I do," replied Ebon with a smile, "and I'm proud of you. I'll check back with Isuelt to see when would be a good time for a meeting. Given recent events, it may be a while but don't worry, we won't forget you."
