An odd sense of anxiety rolls through her taut stomach as Kuori guides the wagon to the main Scathachian temple within Rhydin. She knew the smith, Kruger, had fashioned shields for the sisters to use in their war against Bhall and his followers. However, would the sisters know how to use shields in combat' In her sparring with Delphinea, the goliathess had not seen her, nor the others train with the items. Given the ways of their goddess, the dual weapon style with accompanying chakram tells her that the Scathachian way is fast combat and constant movement.

Delphinea, along with Issy's acceptance of the idea, asked her about teaching the warrior sisters to fight like Kuori, trading a measure of mobility for the power and defense provided by a shield. Granted, the others such as Janie or Sheryl have seen her fight without the shield, often using the two handed weapons out of preference. But would others want to learn her real style" Would there be those among the sisters who would want to learn ranged combat with a shield" To hurl such a bulky item in order to trip their enemies, stagger with a timed shield bash even disarm with one. These thoughts play through her head as the wagon comes to a stop.

What Phin and Issy wanted her to try to teach the others"is a completely different way of fighting than they may have ever seen before. To use a shield"without any other weapon in hand. Use a defensively designed piece of equipment in an offensive way. Such an order might be taller than Kuori herself. However, if Zhu, Issy, and Phin had faith in her abilities to teach these women, she would do what she could for those whom would be willing.

(( this is open to any of the Scath sisters, as the post reads, Kuori has been asked to teach the Scaths how to fight with shields both as a ranged weapon, and melee. Like Captain America in laymens. ))

The great iron gates to the Sanctuary were open, as they were most of the time during the day. Isuelt was awaiting the arrival of Kuori and turned from her assessment of one of the herb gardens when she heard the wagon pull through the gates and settle in front of the Sanctuary.

There was a breeze, as there usually was, that wafted in from the sea. Today it was not harsh nor cold, however. Today it lifted the scent of the apple blossoms in the air to mix with the fragrance from the lilac bushes which were planted all along the perimeter of the Scathachian stronghold. A light trickle of water splashing was finally heard once the goliath's wagon stilled.

Isuelt's long legs bore her purposeful stride as she made her way to meet her friend. An arm waved slowly overhead as her boots ground into the gravel beneath them.

"Good morning, Kuori. Delphinea told us you were to be expected today." Isuelt looked over the wagon briefly and nodded with a satisfied smile. Her dark eyes gazed up at the giantess, "My thanks for this. Truly. Every Daughter of Scathach will be a better warrior for what you bring to us." She bowed to Kuori and then gestured for a few of the Scathachians, who had since come out of the front door, to help Kuori with the shields in the back of the wagon. "Will you take breakfast first, Kuori" Or lessons first?"

"I presume lessons shall be first, Illea." Delphinea's voice sounded from behind Isuelt as her thick form cast its long shadow along the morning's early-blooming flora. "Then to work up a hunger, for it is the best way." As a Champion of Scathach (having won the Island of Shadow's competition two years in a row), Delphinea fancied herself something of an expert in the ways of training. And she was the one who had rallied behind Kuori coming to the Sanctuary to teach the goliath's way of shield fighting.

The blonde bowed her head to her friend, Kuori, happy to see that she had brought enough shields for the lot of the Sanctuary to being practicing right away. As her emerald green eyes looked over the contents of the wagon, her hands rubbed together in anticipation. "And by the looks of things, we shall be warranting a feast of a breakfast indeed." A smile wore her lips as she looked to Isuelt then to Kuori. "About time we learned a bit more about how to go up against the abominations that this city sports. The perversions here are flaunted before our faces. And with this skill in hand, we shall produce yet another fang to battle the Temple of Bhaal." It was almost as if she were channeling every bitter experience she'd ever had, such was the venom dripping from her tongue. "Come. Let us begin!"

"Phin right." she gives a nod to her friend before stepping down from the wagon, standing head and shoulders above the two. "Train first then eat so no vomit."

She places a large hand on each of their shoulders, smiling warmly before turning to take her own shield from the side of the wagon. Polished and gleaming, it shines brighter than the best steel. As her fingers run over the painted surface the metal hums softly. "This is a good day to sweat."
