"What is she doing?"

"I don't know."

"Should we help?"

"I asked if she needed any but she declined."

The two young men were whispering while watching the small woman known as Kai scurry about the space between the temple and the leading path that made way to the healing pool. It was actually behind the temple that the site could be found. Land had been toiled with care and she had managed to bring several boards of smooth wood, bricks, and tools.

Now" Now the two lads were watching the small woman struggle with pushing a large wheel barrel worth of materials through the grass.

A single motion got a thwack from both their heads. Both men yelped and turned to face the older green woman who was wearing a scowl directed to them both. "What are you two boys just sitting there gawking at that poor child while she is breaking herself" Go on and get! You go help that girl!" The young men were already on their way, running from the fuming woman. She was shaking her finger like she was scolding children, "For all she does for this temple shame on you for not asking to start!"

Both men were sorely disappointed on both ends. On one end of their path was Eudora. On the other was Kai who kindly declined their assistance and continued on her stubborn path.

The days went on like this for two or so weeks. The little wall structure Kai had tried to create didn't come out as great as she would of liked. One stiff breeze and it would tumble. She knew this and as disappointed as she was, she didn't want to bother anyone with something she wanted.

Disappointed as she was she was still able to see the wobbly, misshapen structure from her room. The wide span of the window was taken up by a bought makeshift flowerbed which housed the seeds given to her by the kind Lady Alae.

She had not been expecting such kindness and feared that another person was looking to use Nick through her. It was only due to Nick's reassurance and Alae's kind words that she felt she could accept the gracious gift of the elven herbs.

Herbs that would help with her moon sickness. One would ease the headaches and fever while the other would place her into a deep slumber to where she could sleep through the pain instead of dealing with it. Sure there were other herbs and drugs that could do the same, to a degree, but none of them as effective as these.

A moon cycle she was suppose to wait. Beautiful purple leaves of one plant had already started breaking past the moist soil, stretching out the moonlight that bathed them. She could not wait to see these plants in full bloom. They were sure to be a lovely sight indeed.

It did come to as a question some time later that the noble woman known as Alae had these seeds in her possession. Why' Did she know of their origins" Their meanings" Their uses" She would be sure to bring this up at one time.

But it was these precious plants that she was trying to build the little walls. In order to properly give these plants a home. As much as she felt like she fail she would be sure to take loving care of the plants. Not only for her sake but for his sake as well. Nick would no doubt be disappointed if she didn't have the herbs. Displeased would be ever so more accurate.

Nick was a blessing to her and she'd tell any soul that she met just that. Despite his withdrawn nature and hardening guard he had room for warmth just for her. The feeling of affection for the titan was bewildering and alarming, too good to be true" It was a question she asked herself when he wasn't around. Too good to be true" And was he coming back" She counted the days until she next saw him. She found herself waiting just for him among the crowd of the inn.

It was this man in her thoughts that she fell asleep to, eyes heavily drooped as she watched the moonlight drenched leaves of waking plants.
