(ooc note)

This Temple belongs to the Scanthachian and It's Goddess. The Corner stone was brought from the Island to add the strength and faith that will keep all that wish the SISTERS and thier GUEST any harm, from entering the temples walls.

from Faith a temple was built within the walls of the Scathachian Sanctuary. Built within a halo of trees that played in the small breezes, the trickle and run of the large brook calmed any soul that walked it's flowered and stone path.

Jenai stood back and looked at the last bit of the temple that was being completed. And now that the holy words where being etched around the pillars tops, she could look back and remember it's birth.

The laying of the Holy and Blessed cornerstone, the first piece she had laid herself to protect it against the evils that tried to lay a stench on the land. Atthat rear wall then was the alter and Wall of Faith, it's Goddess likeness and praise would be painted only there. The way Jenai saw it, it would remind the Sisters why they were here....

One Side was Painted, for we need only to see one side. the Scathachian Side.

For here in Rhydin there seemed to be many other sides and they would need all the focus and reminding they could get.

It wasn't long after that Jenai remembered, the hurried building of the healing wing. This stood behind and connected to the North Wall, the Goddess's Wall, for she was the guardian of all that came to Jenai and the Temple to heal and rest. It was a place of soft linens, cool water basins, andpure white nettings over each bedto keep the breeze fresh and the insects out.

She'd come to Rhydin for so many different reasons. The main one now seemed so small and silly to what she really needed to do here. Defend along side her sisters and to heal the meekest.

As she looked up to the sky that was so blue that it stung your eyes, she felt the sweat start to roll down the back of her neck and cause her heavy red mane to nap and curl. Today would not be the last day she worked on the temple, but it was the last she would be outside!

For tomorrow, she started on the mural, and that meant time in the cool shade, alone with her heart and the songs she would sing inside the white stone and marble shrine.

It was true. Jenai had been working on the Temple nearly everyday. And with the heat of summer bearing down on her, the work had become slow-going.

Isuelt knew that this was more than a "project" for Jenai. It was her way of making her mark on the Sanctuary, it was her way of bringing the Island closer, it was her way of bringing Scathach closer.

Although she was never one to "nest," quite the contrary actually, Isuelt wanted to pitch in. Perhaps it was her way of saying thank you for Jenai always keeping her cool and her focus in times of strife and trouble, no matter who was involved.

She had been in town today and picked up some surprises for the Temple that she had commisioned. She couldn't wait for Jenai, and Trixie, to see.

The temples healing garden had seen some rough times as of late. It's pulled and plucked flowers, roots and leaves seemed to have been turned over and out in frantic searches to those who needed them.

Jenai leaned elbow first in waist high potter, her chin in hand, lost in thoughts. What was not lost was the smudge of dirt across the bridge of her nose and danced across her right cheek. Sometimes even the flowers made her nose twitch and an itch was warranted!

Someone laid healing alone in the soft afternoon breeze, the temples solitude theirs to heal them. The songs of the gated Eden where the Scathachian's home were stitches sound by the small twitter happy birds.

A sigh to the winged song masters and a wishful thought brought Jenai out of her mental nap. It reminded her, it was time to feed the gardens guest.

The Hammock.

With the main work of the temple complete, it was JenJen time. behind the temple, lost in the trees, she found the perfect breeze.

With eyes closed she smiled turning into the honey suckled scent, the wind kissing her face. It was the goddess that kissed this place and her hard labor. All was completed.

It was a purposely slow knot she tied to one tree, then padding softly to the other she looked to the house. Not a sign of anyone. This would be a private little spot for napping, dreaming, and simple self keeping.

The hammock swung so very little in the wind that came over the wall, now as she crawled in it, she let out a purr and a giggle. It was hers for the taking!

She let the birds talk her to sleep, the garden fountain sound be the pillow for her mind and the little bits of sunshine fall through the trees and their green leaves be her blanket and tuck her in to that warm, perfect summer day.

Something had stirred the air about Jenai like smoke the color of violet and black. Eyes once closed in quiet prayer flew open wider then ever. Suprise took her, but more curious then anything else. Something was coming. Or, had come. The smoke washed away, a few black sparkes popped silently in the air.

She sprang to her feet with flame like grace as she gathered her white temple skirt in her hand to make it easier for running. And she did. The smoke washed away, a few black sparkes popped silently in the air in her wake.

Scathach had spoke to her. Bless you Scathach, bless you and yours as she ran ran full speed away from the alter and out the door, steps by the few flew by under her barefeet, walking stones and pathways, patio tile and marble entrances. All those were meer blurrs now as she skidded to a stop seeing Issy.

With dark damp tendrils clinging to her neck and shoulders, Isuelt stood in one of the hallways of the Sanctuary. Her white cotton tunic and breeches had served her well during another of her sparing sessions, this time with Umrae'diira (the Drow Sister always proved more than a challenge).

The bo staff in her wrapped hand was stilled as she turned to see Jenai come flying in off the marble causeway. Truth be told, she was still feeling the adrenaline rush from her mock-battle and her reflexes were still honed to a razor's edge. Those dark eyes of the tallest Scathachian snapped to attention even before the motion from Jenai was detected. Isuelt could simply feel someone coming....and quickly!

Seeing the bo staff, and if time was counted on hairs....Jen had seen the last one attached to the end of it. She had been granted just that hair of time to avoid it.

She dropped her hip letting her feet go forward as she literally slid home. She curled her legs under as not to bowl Issy over. Not when she had a big stick to waylay her with.

"Isuelt! Isuelt!" she panted out as she looked from Rae to Issy.

Staying where she was, temple robe all about, she painted the dream Scathach sent her in temple. She told them the story not missing a single detail she was shown.

She waited, her breath caught, she looked between them to see what they knew.
