from Faith a temple was built within the walls of the Scathachian Sanctuary. Built within a halo of trees that played in the small breezes, the trickle and run of the large brook calmed any soul that walked it's flowered and stone path.
Jenai stood back and looked at the last bit of the temple that was being completed. And now that the holy words where being etched around the pillars tops, she could look back and remember it's birth.
The laying of the Holy and Blessed cornerstone, the first piece she had laid herself to protect it against the evils that tried to lay a stench on the land. Atthat rear wall then was the alter and Wall of Faith, it's Goddess likeness and praise would be painted only there. The way Jenai saw it, it would remind the Sisters why they were here....
One Side was Painted, for we need only to see one side. the Scathachian Side.
For here in Rhydin there seemed to be many other sides and they would need all the focus and reminding they could get.
It wasn't long after that Jenai remembered, the hurried building of the healing wing. This stood behind and connected to the North Wall, the Goddess's Wall, for she was the guardian of all that came to Jenai and the Temple to heal and rest. It was a place of soft linens, cool water basins, andpure white nettings over each bedto keep the breeze fresh and the insects out.
She'd come to Rhydin for so many different reasons. The main one now seemed so small and silly to what she really needed to do here. Defend along side her sisters and to heal the meekest.
As she looked up to the sky that was so blue that it stung your eyes, she felt the sweat start to roll down the back of her neck and cause her heavy red mane to nap and curl. Today would not be the last day she worked on the temple, but it was the last she would be outside!
For tomorrow, she started on the mural, and that meant time in the cool shade, alone with her heart and the songs she would sing inside the white stone and marble shrine.
