~ she was in one hell of a hurry as she dodged a couple people on the sidewalks.
Clutching her huge bag purse under her arm, she checks her watch and sees she's going to be late if she didn't start double timing it. She didn't think Sanchez wanted to hear her excuse was over sleeping with Wil.
Her cheeks turned bright red, it would be worth it after that. She looked up at the light, waiting for it to change so she could cross. She could see the blue neon from the strip club from where she stood. Also from where she stood she saw a few dark shapes also moving closer, one from here, another two from there. Reno had warned her about walking, but she didn't have time, she needed this short cut...
The light changed and the little green guy popped up on the box giving her the okay to cross. She let out a breath of relief as she scuttled across. She had to remind herself, head and chin up as she tried to watch out of the corners of her eyes, those vague individuals where crossing too, together but taking a sweet stroll it seemed by the time she was a few paces down from the crosswalk.
As soon as the full neon of Blue could be seen, she hastened her steps, making it obvious she was paranoid. But for good reason, they too picked up the pace.
