"When you wish upon as star, Makes no difference who you are"

Penny was walking down the alley way, stormy green eyes staring into space. Home was lost now and she had to think of something fast. Strawberry blonde hair swayed as she turned her head, here to there, looking at apartments as she passed. There was so much sadness, and so much joy in this world, couples laughing, victims crying. The dangers were all around, one wrong step and Penny could fall down.

A gush of wind wrapped around her green robes, letting them flicker for a moment before they went limp. Poor Penny didn't know what to do in this world; there was no union of her people here. In fact she hadn't even seen one like her yet. Turning down a dim corridor she lifted a stick into the air and lit its tip with out a word, movement, or fire. Pale skin covered in goose bumps as she moved slowly on booted steps. Pink lips pursed and narrowed as she step after step moved down into that dark corridor. Curiosity abound, it was her nature, was her job in fact, when she heard a rustle she wasn't surprised.

The fold of boxes strewn in waste, the smell of rotten food as it intruded through her nose. That gaze of hues leaned closer as she went to investigate. Innocent, kind, and curious Penny gaped as she saw a small black cat prowl past her path. Smiling she said in a sing song voice," Silly black kitty, think your witty, determined to take my dignity, run along now before there's a calamity." Then she giggled and walked through that cat's cursed trail, continuing on as if there was not a care in the world.

Little black cat followed Miss Penny, winding and weaving in and out of sight, just as full of curiosity as the path of that she crossed. The prowl of the cat as jade eyes peered in front of Penny, something spotted before the light. Stalking forwards the cat grew larger at Penny's side, now black with white spots the cat snarled and continued its" creep along the side of the pretty Miss Penny.

Penny looked down at the cat it changed shaking her head lightly. There was the soft hum of her voice, filled with honey," What is it that we see, darkness flutters all around thee, light shining bright from me, still my eyes seem to fail me.? Talking to the cat, she suspected was a strange breed of cat she continued her booted walk gazing slowly from corner to corner as she stepped.

The cat did a low thrum and flicked her tail as jaded eyes never lingered the approaching terror. Claws at the ready, fangs glittering in the light as the slow prowl of her paws left no sound to echo there.
