Walking through the halls, files in her arms as usual, Baby bump on show and dressed in heels, a red polo neck and a pencil skirt that stopped below her knees, her hair was pinned up as usual, a smiling her lips.

As she moved Students would stop to talk to her and she would stop and talk to everyone, students asked about the bump, her husband and of course her business, some wanted to make an appointment for any upcoming dances at the Academy, at Bristle Crios or even at home, before moving on.

Heading into her office, humming to herself leaving the door open, showing tailor dummies, a neat desk, drawings, and a few vases of flowers. Looking around the room smiling before settling down to work.

Looking up from her desk smiling "hey Les, whats the matter?" Reclining in her chair, various books and magazines were opened all over the desk.

A dummy with a half finished dress hung on it stood near Mai, it looked to be burnt and torn, a red jewel hung around its neck.

Smirking, seems Les forgot her ability "its my mothers" looking at the whole outfit. "It was one of her favourite outfits to wear when she as invited to a party" Looking at Les "she had set it out for me to wear the night she........and my papa was taken from our family" Smiling at her "I got my revenge"

Leaning forward examining her "alright, what do you really want to discuss Lesinda? its not like you to tread around a subject, or change it completely"

Looking back at Mrs Mai, Les nodded before chewing her lip. That was the crutch of the issue, wasn't it' She didn't really know how to approach the subject herself, let alone discuss it.

Shutting the door to the office carefully and then moving towards Mrs Mai's desk, Les found herself quickly settling into the seat opposite Mai. There was a tense moment where she was just stared at the desk and wrung her hands in her lap, Les's emotions for the moment a mix of apprehension, confusion and just a touch of fear.

"I...I..Ah" She took a deep breath, shutting her eyes.

"Focus." The thought came unbidden..No, the memory came unbidden. There was a flutter of surprise in her emotions as the memory played out. Mr Arthour was giving on of his lectures on the importance of focus, 'finding one's 'inner-self' and projecting it through out your mind. It's key to finding that place where no matter what happens in the world about you, you always have control. Control of your emotions and the magic that courses through the very fibre of every thing around you. From the lowly rocks to the mightiest trees, from snails and worms to biggest giant. There is a scrap of magic everywhere and focusing, keeping calm, is the key to unlocking it'

Les let a long, low breath out. Keeping her eyes shut, and went to that place she used when casting magic. Keeping her eyes shut, she spoke softly to Mai.

"I...Don't..Think, I..." This wasn't working. No, she'd hit it head on and let what may come happen. "I think I'm a lesbian."

'There. That wasn't so hard, was it?' She smirked at the thought. No, no it wasn't so hard, not at all. Still, now she waited, eyes shut still and wringing her hands on her lap. She needed to hear what Mai said, needed to know what the other woman thought. If she had to name the person she felt was closest to her mother.... It'd be Mai. Her opinion was extremely important, which Mai would no doubt know just from reading Les's emotions, the huge anticipation at wanting to know the what she thought.

At Mai's outburst, she tensed. Then relaxed suddenly, smiling. A great tension, a weight, felt as if it had lifted off her shoulders lifted as she held Mai's hands. Tilting her head slightly into the hand that stroked her hair, Les nodded. "Yes..I'm sorry, if I worried you Miss....I just didn't know how to say it"

Feeling the tension removed from the room, she sighed softly, relaxing more. "I..I wasn't sure how you'd react at first...Would it sound silly, if said....I didn't..Just like girls?"

Les beamed at Mai and bit her bottom lip a moment, before nodding with a smile. "Thank you miss" She replied, still smiling.

Then Les nodded again, vigorously, smiling brightly. "Yes miss, that's more than all right, I'd love to!" A slight tilt to her head, brushing strands of green hair from her eyes. "What makes you say that, miss?"

Chuckling "just a feeling, but, then every day and every year is interesting, don't you think?"

Taking a seat "there is the new students, the balls, the pranks" Smiling

Nodding "yes.......those poor kids, they came to me for counselling afterwards" Chuckling

"but, this is a school, and they are young, so it is normal for pranks to be made on teachers and other students" Chuckling again

Sighing, nodding slowly "yes.......he is......um.......unsettling that way" Looking at Lesinda chuckling "remember that christmas you stayed over" I tried to bake and cool some cookies before you came over, he found them and ate most of them"

Thinking "I need to find a better place......this year" Looking at Les chuckling again, "any Ideas?"

Laughing "good plan"

Looking at her "you are staying over this year right?" Tilting her head, a brow quirked.
