The gates of the Bristle Crios coven were stared at for long moments. They were very pretty gates, strongly built and ornate. Best of all they were open to all, but Little Ammy just couldn't get over staring at how pretty they were and all the details that went into making them. She'd touched almost every reachable inch of them for her 3 1/2 foot height.

Pretty gates weren't the reason she was here though. She'd been a bad girl and got into Older Ammy's bedroom and found things and notes mentioning this place. She was very curious why older her would be here, so far from Den City. She was about to find out why.

Pulling her hoodie up, and zipping up her fleece and leather jacket she got from momma, she headed further into the Covens ground with her leather back pack on her back. The place looked pretty with all the snow around and she could see where gardens were sleeping during winter. Little Ammy skipped through the snow banks now that she had small boots that kept her paws warm, and the bright snow and lights were cozy and soft with her dark amber sunglasses on, giving the world a hue of caramel.

She started to make a snowman, attempting this one on her own after learning how to make them from Mr. Leroy and Mr. Andu.

Her fascination with snow men had run its course. She had built about 10 carolling snowmen in the middle of the Covens main yard. Now she was getting cold and looking about for a play to get warm and out of the snow. She noticed a beautiful green house and trudged through the deepening snow until she reached the glass structure.

Soon little Ammy headed inside and squeaked in joy. Flowers everywhere and they were covered in ice. The fragrant smells hit her small nose with delight and she was grinning from tri-tipped ear to tri-tipped ear. Small tail wagging, she moved among the various rows of flowers, sniffing every kind she could find. They all seemed well cared for. She looked around the green house.

"Hello?" little Ammy called out.

Studies had been thankfully short with the holidays and it saved the Wolf a time to relax from teaching all of the pupils in his class. Teachers could enjoy Christmas too, even if its form appears to be a rather grumpy looking wolf! He had his Christmas, and this New Years event with the pups, and like any caring Father who didn't wish to deal with annoyed pups, he spoilt the little ones with gifts of toys, sweets and meats. He received a few gifts himself, the occasional...Personal one from the mate. He was checking the papers for the final round till everything kicked back into order, and the broad form of the wolf wandered out into the cold, snowy depths of the gardens, and only then, did his interest begin to rise. Snowmen, ten of them, in the gardens. They weren't here last time, and he surely knows he wasn't drunk enough to forget something like that! The wolf was warmly wrapped up in the thick, soft wool cloak that managed to fit around him, but the thick bristles of dark fur was a suitable enough replacement for dealing with the biting winds of the cold sky and he didn't even require shoes, dealing with it barefoot.

But what caught his interest the most like a fish to bait was the small prints within the snow. Footprints. That smelled of...Lupe" Must be Ammy checking in too, or perhaps one of the kids slipped out from their home again. He'd follow after them, the nose tingling after the scent of the Lupe, further suggesting a tone of female and something...Familiar. Something that was going to give him a mental kick in the arse. It went to the Greenhouse, maybe gardener, or an admirer of them" The door to the Greenhouse was slowly pulled open, frost masking the glass around, and the muzzle poked through first, followed by those blazing warm pits of amber.

"Hullo?" He hadn't caught wind of the girl yet, and was too late for the voice, the pesky flowers making good use of masking the scent!

Little Ammy heard a voice in the green house. Ears twitched trying to figure out who it was. A familiar voice. She just barely peeked over some white roses and spied the large Fenris looking about the green house. He looked big and grumpy. Maybe he guarded the Coven's snow? Perhaps he was upset that she made snowmen out of his snow.

Quietly she slunk down below the rows of pots and started moving for the back of the green house where another door was seen. Her small, wet boots though betrayed her stealth.

Squeaky, Squeaky, Squeaky, Squeaky, Squeak!

She cringed hearing the rubber soles squeak on the ground. Little Ammy decided to duck under the shelves that held many potted flowers and decided to camp out until the Fenris either left or found her. Her little hands glowed as she waited and she blinked at them. This was neat. A nearby pot shuddered a moment as if it moved. That had her full attention now as she tried to figure out how a pot with no legs could move.

He certainly looked big! But when his eyes flicked over to the direction of the movements and sounds of a very loud child, and a corner of his lips curled upwards for a sly smirk, eyes rolled at her attempt to sneak away. Kids. Must be one of the teacher's lot, or even a stray student... Hiding back a chuckle, his teeth were pulled open when lips parted, revealing a menacing, yet teasing, bright, white grin, a hand stroked along the thick curls of his chin, one that you could call a small beard for a wolf,

"Hmmm, wonder what rapscalli'an made all those darn snowmen outside..." Purposely, he placed his weight into each footstep, heavy sounds of his steps sounding clearly for the girl, and they were slowly approaching....Her.

She'd likely spy his feet and tail just within her grasp as soon as he halted by the stack of shelves, a loud Hmmmm emitting from him as he scratched at his noggin gently, tilting his head.

"Wonder where they could be...I was going to offer a reward of chocolate for such fine work outside, but since they're not showing themselves..." That sly voice could have greased cogs if he wanted to, and he began to turn away. She best make a choice quickly before he leaves!.

Little Ammy attention was tugged from her glowing hands and the moving pot. The Fenris was right in front of her hiding spot. She had heard what he said and wasn't sure if he was mad at her or not for the snowmen. She quietly snuck out through the other side of the shelving and took off her boots. Small paws made no sound as she snuck to the back door and stood ready to dart into the snow.

"Are....Are....You mad at me sir for the snowmen?" She asked hesitantly.

His brow was raised curiously as there was no initial response from the Lupe in the first few moments of his statement, so he carefully made his way around the various plant-life of the Green House, amber eyes watching the wilted flowers or blooming petals. Oblivious to the very sneaky lupe! Her words nearly caught him off-guard, and he would turn his eyes to focus upon the very small Lupe's voice, lips twisting into a warm smile and a chuckle, that fuzzy head shaking from side to side,

"Nah lass I ain' angry, ya did a damn fine job o' makin' 'em alone too, now...What's a kid like ya doin' all tha' way 'ere alone" Ya parents or guardians around?" Eyes flicked between the doors, curious to know if the child was actually alone.

He couldn't be angry, he actually liked children! He dealt with them everyday, well, his own pups really.

"What are guardians?" She asked the big Fenris.

Little Ammy never thought she needed guards with her. Were people out to get her back pack or lunch' She leaned against the closed door not intent on dashing out now that the big Fenris didn't seem dangerous.

"Parents" Hmm....I guess they are around. Momma's probably flying a plane if you are asking about my adopted mom. My real momma hasn't left Tammy's basement in centuries. I don't have a father. You aren't going to eat me are you?" Her paws glowed a little as something buzzed in her mind letting her know a magic missile was ready to fly.

A fuzzy, dark brow rose up at her odd question, and thick fingers scratched along the rough, longer bristles of fur that curled along the chin, his amber eyes now focused upon the deer girl, eyelids narrowing as he watched her closely from afar. It felt odd....Like he had seen her before...But he was asked a question, and any respectable adult should answer a child's intrigue!

"A guardian is someone who looks after ya that ain' ya parents, y'know...Like a grandparent or an aunt or uncle, stuff like that..." Lips parted for a deep rumble of a chuckle, the fur trembling with the playful growl of a laugh as he scanned her tiny form, his space from her politely kept back, "I ain' gonna eat ya little 'un, I ain' like tha' big bad wolf in tha' ol' fairy tales, I'm tha' good guy!" Paws were sharply clapped together, and lips pulled back to reveal his teeth in a bright, friendly fashion, "I don' eat kids...Well, only if they're naughty," he'd wink down to her, then stretched his back out with a low groan.

"So what?s ya name little 'un? I'm Crowe, head of tha' wolf lot 'ere!" He'd thump his chest softly with a paw, bowing his head.

Well he wasn't technically a stranger now after giving his name so she could talk to him, she supposed.

"Okay, that's what a guardian is. My guardian and Marilla, she's my new momma." She gave a soft smile. "I'm Ammy. Nice teh meet ya Mr. Crowe."

((Sorry for the late post! My minds been derailed past few weeks....))

"Ammy huh' Nice to meet ya too" He'd scratch at his chin, obviously curious now once thick, bushy brows of rich, darker fur arched above the eyes of amber and muddy brown, a dirtier gold now. He'd stretch an arm up above his head, the bone beneath the thick muscle and hide producing an audible pop, and pressed a relieved sigh out from the wolf's lips, before the hand lazily dragged down his head to reside on the warm, fuzzy neck of his.

"Well then...Why's a kid like ya'self doin' all alone up 'ere" Classes are kinda off for now...Winter y'know....Or ya som' sneaky rapscallion huh?" Lips peeled for a flashy, proud show of those long, sleek and truly fierce bone-white chompers of his. Could easily tear through her tiny self! But he was a real puppy underneath the large exterior, and he'd crouch down to her height,

"Ar' ya missin' ya Marilla then?"

Little Ammy shook her head no to his questions.

"I was a little bad and got into older me's room and found notes and things about this Coven. Was curious why older me would come here, why teach, and why be away from Den City?" She said.

"I do miss momma Marilla but I have a teleport pendant she gave me. I can go home at any time and be safe." she gave Crowe a sunny smile.

Then with a grin and mischievious gleam in her golden eyes, Little Ammy was out the door and tearing across snow as fast as a corgi in quick sand.

Kids these days....Eyes of discarded, worn gold watched a memory of his mistaken heart flee off into the distance, a small smile curling up at either corner of his lip as he watched her flee off through the door. A hand settled on his hip as he took a leisurely lean upon the door bannister, ducking his head so the large frame could just squeeze in, eyes soon watching the frantic child,

"Ammy...I knew ya as ya older self y'know...Should be suprised ya don't recognise me but after everythin', I'm not really..." Lips released for a warm, pleasing chuckle, a hand curling through the thick locks of messy fur upon his head.

"We were good friends too, your older self and I, ya'self actually worked 'ere too, one of the houses too...I know one thing that's similar too..." A lip curled up for a mischievous smirk, "Still as sprightly as you were older too!"

Well she hadn't made much progress in the snow and was only 8 feet from the door, stuck up to her waist in snow and feeling quite cold now. She looked back to Crowe with innocent goldens of a young child.

"I sort of know you I think, Mr. Crowe. I thin you're a part of my family. Usually Older Me has names for me to know and told me I'll know who is part of my new family. I was just wanting to play chase, but I'm stuck." She wiggled trying to get free of the snow.

"I kinda figured Older Me works here seeing class notes and boring stuff. Was coming here to see why she'd be interested in a place so far from the Lupinossai city I woke up in. Glad to hear she's friends with you." she tried wiggling loose once more and frowned at the snow.

"I'm getting a bit cold. Could you pull me out Mr. Crowe?"

The head was shaken from side to side at the trapped Lupe, almost a fatherly gaze as he dealt with the issue numerous times with his own pups, a glimmer of bone-white teeth in an amused smirk at her predicament before he'd push off the doorway and easily wade through the tides of fresh snow. There was a moment of a frown when he heard himself referred to as Family , though it was swiftly turned to a bright, warming grin, and he'd tuck his hands under her shoulders, easily hauling her out of the snow but...She'd keep rising...And rising...Before she was sitting upon his broad shoulders!

"Jus' call me Crowe Ammy, an' yeh...Guess ya could call me part o' Family, or kinda close...Mention who I was in it, like tha' Uncle or somethin'?" He was curious in fact to see what past Ammy wrote of him, "But thanks that ya appreciate me bein' friends with ya older self, ya...She ever mention mor' of me too?"His thick legs trudged through snow, tearing through like a fuzzy bulldozer, a small jog around the garden now!
