ICE BOWLING The ice bowling lanes will feature rows of ice sheets with large heavy snowballs you can throw down the ice to knock over the icicle stalagmites. Once your icicles are knocked down, the next set will instantly shoot up out of the ground, so watch your step by the bowling lanes. Several lanes will be lined up in the Glen in order to provide enough lanes for anyone who is willing to give it a shot. Play on your own or with a friend.

SNOW BALL WAR ZONE The snow ball war grounds will have huge piles of pre-made snow balls as well as snow mounds and small snow igloos for duck-and-cover fun. Watch your head because an occasional stray snowball may wander over into the crowd, accidentally, I'm sure. Scattered around the war grounds will be small fire pits to warm your hands, along with warm towels for any snow cover hair.

Sipping from the earthenware mug, black tea with cream and honey swirled around her lips. The small amount of caffeine smoothing out the wear of the day. Miranda stepped back to admire the final touches of her handy work. Antique looking sleighs gleamed in the long rays of the setting sun.

"Painted, waxed, buffed, lined, lanterns, hooks, harness, reins and blankets." Mentally checking each item off the to do list.

Mint green eyes savored the pristine winter horizon. Clouds hung low in the sky laced with the promise of snow.

"Angel will be thrilled." she mused with another sip.

Twinkling just on the edge of her vision was the ice carriage she made. Pursing her lips in thought over how to make this a perfect romantic ride for two. Miranda's imagination brought Morgan to her side. Playing through their ideal ride.

Curled up to snuggle under a velvet blanket, chocolate roses to nibble along the way, champagne to tickle their noses and of course to be surrounded by sparkling lights. What woman wouldn't feel like a princess with prince charming at her side.

"Mommy!" Angel's voice called out from behind her. "Mommy! Are they done" Can we go for a ride?"

Miranda chuckled and turned to find Angel and Morgan heading for her.

"Yes, they are done. Perhaps tomorrow for the ride. Right now it is time for dinner."

Mug in hand, Miranda laved her fingers with Morgan's as Angel expectantly stared up at them with glee, waiting for mommy and daddy to kiss.

Short Route for Sleigh Rides

A well heated hall leading to the waiting sleighs filled with decorated trees and flowers to delight. A basket of blankets near the door just in case more are needed. Soft candle light flickers from the lanterns hanging from hooks on the sleighs as the clydesdales set the ride in motion for the twinkling woods.

The short route is colorful and fun. Bright colors fill the dark of night, flashing and blinking like fallen stars hovering above the earth. Snowmen tip their hats and wave hello as you pass by. Glowing snow rabbits hope along the ground wiggling their tails. Stars, ribbons and hearts hand from the tree limbs filling the empty spaces where leaves would be in spring

Every so often the sleigh will trip a silent sensor. Drifting in the air would soon be the chime of a music box melody. Lights sinking to the tune to add to the enchantment. The led's shining brightly in their reflections of the ponds giving the normal barren landscape of winter new life.

As the riders round the last pond filled with yellow lights they will see the conservatory of the mage house and are welcome to stop in and see the organic train set and natural ornament tree. Arches dripping lights flash in time to look like falling snow should the riders choose to enter.

Inside is a massive tree filled with a mixture of dried flowers and painted gourd ornaments. Cute little owls and starry landscapes that fit in the palm of your hand. Through the glass doors is a room fit to burst with winter flowers. The delicate scents of each breath taking.

A tiny whistle will sound as the small train makes it's way a crossed tressels that lead to either side of the room and through a tiny village. All of which is made from the plant matter inside this massive building of glass and steel. The twinkling lights from outside can be seen through the glass ceiling creating a surreal moment as the moon looks down through the falling snow at all who are enjoying this night.

Romantic Sleigh Rides

Nestled in each others arms the lovers will be swept away in a wonderland of twinkling lights in creams, blues, red, pink and hints of green. The trunks of trees along the path wrapped in cream lights with hearts and snowflakes shimmering above their heads. Breath taking views of ponds, cliff faces over looking the edges of the property and the music of the party drifting softly in the air.

Little balls of ice flicker from the tea lights within, forming hearts and spirals in the fresh snow. The couple is free to leave the ice carriage and sneak a private walk along the path just out of sight. Or continue inside with all manner of goodies.

As the riders can indulge in champagne, chocolate roses, dipped strawberries and each others laughter. Near the end of the route a shimmering tunnel delicately hangs in the air. Seemingly to be supported by nothing. Follow it through to a gazebo in white. Recently covered in snow as it over looks the ice covered pond. The ice candles flicker to life and a silent sensor is tripped. Soft music fills the air perfect for a slow dance or to cuddle in that special someone's arms enjoying the view under the snowy white moon. Be for warned. Look up in the rafters of the gazebo and you just might find a reason to have the first kiss. Tradition of the mistletoe and such. It is said that a first kiss under the mistletoe will never be forgotten and luck and love shall fill both houses.

Snuggly and Warm Drinks

Adult Hot Chocolate Pre warm your mug of choice so that the drink will stay warmer longer. Add 1.5 oz of peppermint schnapps to your warmed mug. The pour your favorite hot chocolate over top. Remember to make it with milk to give it a silky texture. Add whipped cream and a few chocolate shavings to the top and now you are ready to share with a certain someone.

Gluehwein Add 3/4 cup of water, one whole cinnamon stick and 3/4 cup of sugar to a pot and bring to a boil. Once the mixture is boiling reduce the heat to a simmer and add the juice of one whole orange to the pot. Then push 5 whole cloves into each half of the used orange skin. Add this to the pot and let cook for 30 minutes till a syrup forms. Finally add one bottle of red wine, table wine is just fine, and simmer until it begins to steam. Any longer and the color will change plus cooking out the wonderful booze! Serve in any heat safe container.

Hot Toddy In a mug place 1 oz of sugar syrup or simple syrup, 1 lemon slice, 3 whole cloves and 3 oz of bourbon. Fill the mug with boiling water. Finish it off with a whole cinnamon stick and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Snow Bunny Pre heat a mug and place 1 oz of triple sec and fill with hot chocolate. Remember to use milk for your hot chocolate so it has a silkier texture. Stir the two together and top with whipped cream or marshmallows for the kid in us all.

Butterball This can be done two ways. One pour 1/2 oz Bailey's irish cream, a dash of butterscotch schnapps and 1/2 oz of coffee into a shaker. After a few shakes strain into a shot glass or to save on dishes pour all the ingredients into the shot glass and stir with a coffee straw.

Location of the Magic Duels

Just behind the massive log cabin filled with laughter and music sits a giant glass dome. Nestled in the stone and reinforced with steel it looks like a giant snow globe. Penguins toddle about the structure carrying little silver trays and willing to help with any of the duelist needs.

For the duelist there are glow in the dark couches and assorted furniture. Locker rooms for both genders with special glowing touches that make the night seem magical. Sprawled against one wall is a huge carved ice bar from which all the penguins seem to come from.

For the callers there is a heated couch and foot stool in rich red velvet and heavy cherry oak wood for a scrolled frame. This couch takes the foot work for them. Moving on a whim so they can keep track of the action. They have their own penguins to meet any need.

Special rings have been created for this event, all of which have healing wards. For added fun their are optional rules! Please let the caller know before entering the ring if you wish to have a special ruling added. Remember the most important rule! Have fun!

Let's get ready to rumble! A highly polished wooden floor sits in the bottom of a classic boxing ring. Red velvet curtains drape down the sides matching the ropes hanging from the golden posts. Each post is a richly decorated pillar of roses and vines. The boxing bell sitting next to the callers heated couch.
