The Omniverse is filled with great heroes, and equally great villains of immense powers and capabilities. But rarely have either side have gotten to test their powers, be it from barriers of the universes and realities just wont allow for such pairings of the horrors that could very well be unleashed. In the wastelands between the city and the boundaries of Mount Yasuo lies the newly created battle arena. Totally indestructible and more importantly abandoned. It is a sacred place for violence and victory only, yet at the same time it is a peaceful place at any time it is not in use.

Ultimate powers and legends alike are able to test their strength here, but the battles are picked by a mysterious and powerful force that nobody can understand how or why. There is no audience, no reward or prize for winning the battle. It is just a test of strength and power.

Who will be the first to battle? Only time will tell.

Battle Number One.

The rain was cold as the air it came from. The sky dark and filled with dangerous flashes of death, the ring screamed for violence now for the time had finally come. Across the omniverse all things were sensed and inspected with out them even realizing it as if the will of the divine had said their will, it would not be denied.

From one universe came the a terrible destroyer of all living things, proclaiming perfection in every possible way, he decided to prove it by defeating all of his universe's greatest warriors. He almost succeeded in this mission, however, the call of an even greater and more powerful source not from it's universe called out. His name is Cell, he is the perfect android by his own reasoning. Evil and having the powers of any fighter in his universe he may very well be unstoppable.

The opponent comes from another universe distant and unknown to the other. Despite their difference there is one like Cell in this world as well. He is an android made to destroy and overpower any that come in his way. His name is Amazo, despite the name the android has a horrifying power to copy the abilities of any other he sees, and he has seen the best his universe has to offer. His power and strength is unrivaled in his own world may have just met his match.

The two of them appeared there in a flash of light. Neither had any idea of where they were, or how they got there. Amazo instantly saw his opponent, but oddly enough could not seem to copy his powers. The reason for this was Cell was not truly alive in the sense of being alive as understood by normal people, he was also an android. The rules were simple and both of them seemed to understand, and look forward to it. Cell was one to talk and stand around to prove how great he was and how powerful as well. Amazo was not one to stand around.

There was a burst of speed from the mimic machine used his great speed and intended to end this battle before it ever began. The rain evaporated instantly and the air behind him filled with steam. The fist would not make any kind of contact save for a simple shift of direction from Cell's hand, Amazo may have been powerful, but Cell was clearly the more experienced fighter over all. The android had his own speed used against him and nearly went flying right out of the ring completely, but not quite.

Amazo was determined to win now. He would not be humiliated again so easily. From those eyes of his, he fired red rays of concentrated heat. The original possessor of this power's blast would have done Cell no serious damage, but Amazo had the unique ability to enhance any power he had to extreme levels. Cell attempted to simply swipe this away with his hand, but instead the tips of his fingers were completely burned off. Cell leaps back in anger and surprise, but regenerating quickly. This would have to be ended quickly the perfect warrior decided, no time for talk. This was not his typical enemy.

Amazo then saw his powers easily outmatched, or seemed to anyways, the strange green creature's own ability to defend against. This time the mimic would employ much more of his strength. He took off into the air, the ground cracking and breaking from where he pushed off from. His target was nothing short of seemingly standing still. Amazo's fist swung with all of the power it had in it, and it went directly through Cell, too easily through. It was an after image and the fist hit the ground and slid straight through with a resounding crack louder then any thunder the heavens could ever produce. With alarm he tried to turn around to block the attack that surely must be coming next.

Impossibly, Cell's fist came down upon Amazo's head. Despite all his speed and strength, not to mention invulnerability, the strike made him cave into the ground with just one single strike. For a moment, the fallen android did not move, feigning death to buy some time or perhaps the attack had shut him completely down. No, not completely. It was time to finish this. Amazo picked himself up from the dirt and wasted no time. Turning up his speed to as much as he had too offer, not to mention all of his strength as well he turned around and instantly placed his hands around Cell's neck. He did not intend to strangle him. He intended to tear his head completely off.

Cell had no intention of losing the battle, despite his death seemingly becoming apparent, there was one last trick up his sleeve he had neglected to use. In his world it was common practice to do this and foolish for anybody to put themselves in such a horrible spot. Those horrible hands lifted up and lit up with crackling blue energy. There was a flash of light and flame instantly then. The storm was disrupted and murdered on the spot. The ring was decimated from where Cell stood, and there were a pair of hands on his neck, but Amazo was no more. His inexperience and rash choice caused him the match, and his life.

Those dead hands simply fell to the floor, what was left of the floor. The perfect warrior would be returned to his own world, only to later meet defeat at the hands of one stronger then even him. Amazo would be reconstructed and returned to his own universe as well, as the loser his memory would be wiped clean of the event.

The mystical ring reformed and the damage to the environment, restored itself through a mystical power known only to Rhydin. For not its bloodlust had been sated, but soon it would hunger again. Who would be tested next and what would be left of them when it was over, only time would tell.
