It was hard to belive how noisy a bird could be until you had a ship's hold full of brightly colored turkeys. Ten big toms, dyed neon colors so they'd glow nicely under the special lighting set up in the Stars End Bar for the turkey shootout.

The rules of the game were simple, it would be conducted in 15 minute rounds where each participant, armed with a "laser"pistol and specially made sensor, would be released into the maze where the turkeys, similarly armed waited. There were no teams, so if it moved it was fair game to shoot, person or bird. At the end of each period, scores would be tallied, and prizes awarded. Larger prizes would be awarded at the end of the night, for the player with the most kills, the player killed the most, and the player who participated in the most games.
