Lord Ayreg

Jodiah Ayreg dropped into the little stool there in the silver shoppe of the Dragon's Breath, and grumbled to himself. Laying on the workbench in front of him was a copy of The Oracle -- some news material that had started to be published recently. The names of those who write the stories were mostly known by him, of course, if only in passing.

He wondered, briefly, if Destre helped finance the launch of this paper, given what she had been charging him for drinks lately at the Red Dragon.

Zorbenastrocalipermeneotullis (otherwise known as Bob) had been just as "proud as Lucifer" (as he said it) over being featured on Page Six of that news outlet, and a sudden awareness washed over the death knight as he went to look at the picture again. That sudden flash of light that came from the main room of the forge was suddenly explained, now.

And here he thought it was the work of some god or devil.

Still, the rest of the little clipping is what had caused his particularly foul mood.

The only known photo of the gnome Zorbenastrocalipermeneotullis (otherwise known as Bob) at the Jodiah Ayreg forge, creating a new dagger for a RhyDin client.

The Jodiah Ayreg forge. Oh, he felt it was amusing at first, seeing as how he was more or less given to running the daily operations once the gnomes were hired. A foreman, as it were. The actual owner of the forge himself, though; the man who had hired Ayreg on as a silver-worker so long ago...

...Well, he was somewhat less than amused.

Now, for the sake of keeping his job (more as a front to mask his other, darker activities... and, let's face it, there's sometimes when a forge, hammer, and anvil can be very useful), Jodiah Ayreg had to find the time to sit down this day, at this workbench, and begin writing.

Parchement, quill, and inkwell prepared and ready.. the death knight writes out a rather strongly-worded letter to be delivered to the editor of The Oracle.
