Those that know Kairee from her time on AOL and those who are getting to know her now, would have at the very least heard of Gondar.

Simply put, Gondar was a dark mage, a master swordsman, First Overlord of the Duel of Swords and Kairee?s True Love until the day he died and beyond.

Here?s some info about Gondar:

Physical Description: Gondar was a half-elf, standing about 5'10", lean and muscular. He has shoulder-length, raven-black hair, and a dark, penetrating gaze. He always wears a black cloak, and indeed black seems to be his favorite color. Of his history, he tells this much: He never knew his mixed parents, they having supposedly perished in a giant-raid when he was an infant. He survived as an orphan in a nearby city, and grew up on the streets, living by his wits and his stealth. Later, he received training with a blade, the beginnings of his career as a warrior. However, he also got himself apprenticed to some minor wizard, who taught him the ways of magic, and he decided right there that he liked the power. He still studied the sword, becoming a master swordsman, while still excelling in the magic. One day, he left. Didn't say a word to anyone, just left. He's been adventuring since, and finds the RDI a nice distraction (amusing, at the least).
Gondar was NOT psionic, but very skilled in most forms of magic, but extremely so in Apportations, Alterations, and Summonings.
He was a skilled magical traveler, coming and going at will. He had been to all of the Outer Planes, and you can guess that he's been to some of the Inner ones as well.
Gondar possessed three magical items which lent him power. He spoke very little of them unless asked directly. The first is an Amulet, which allows passage across the upper layers of the Planes without taxing his own magical strength. The second is the Ring of Kaldimaar, so named for the mage he took it from (in a rather un-nice way). This absorbed malicious magical energies, up to a point. The Ring recharges slowly, but he feared that it may one day simply overload and explode, and therefore he sought to avoid confrontations in which it will be taxed (he made an exception for Guns) The third item was the Ebon Blade, his sword. It draws on the life force of his opponents to feed it energy in heated combat (which is why it doesn't help during Duels), gradually eating away at their bodies and their souls. He managed to avoid questions of where he acquired it.
As I go though my old files and logs, I will be posting items about Gondar here.
