His return to the Red Dragon Inn was unprovoked; upon a whim, the Demon decided to haunt the jovial architecture housing a myriad of mystical patrons. His obsidian gaze searched the faces within as though curious as to the exposure of just one; was she here?
Indeed, he wondered of Kairee. The powerful mage disguised within the frame of a mortal-woman?s body. Her cross with his kind had always proven tainted and destructive, yet, he by no means intended to find her simply to cause her woe. In fact, on the few occasions he had crossed paths with her, it was anything but cause for him to want to create trouble - she being quite enough of that herself, in his opinion. Yet he could not help but be concerned of her affairs now. The beauty did tug at his sentimental side, despite her aloof and unappreciative demeanor often gifted to her many admirers.
The dark stranger to the Inn dipped his head as he passed patrons and haphazard furnishings, till he found repose by the bar-ledge; a usual sitting perch for Kairee, as he recalled.
Feigning thirst, he ordered from the tender behind the bar, requesting some sort of unappetizing beverage to spend his time in distraction. Dark gaze wafted across to varying faces, as the Demon sauntered with said beverage in hand to haunt the enclosures of the porch outside the Inn.
Appreciative that he should have this time of escapism from his usual demanding lifestyle, Lucien would indulge the quiet air out here and reflect upon a multitude of issues that came to mind. It would seem his time back at RDI would afford him this leisure, and, he decided, would thus ensure his regular return as of late.
