"Hello my fellow citizens in light of the plague of Zombies to hit the fair city of Rhy'din i would like to give you the public and prospective zombie hunters i glimpse into the nature of zombies.

Firstly as many of you know, especially after the Zombie Plague well realize that zombies are undead, the animated corpses of once living beings. The corpses are usually created in one a few known ways, first there is the use of dark necromantic magic, raising of the zombie, by placing a dark spirit within a corpse and binding it to the dead flesh.

Another way zombies are created, is through biological means, a virus, usually created in some lab, as some kind of experiment. There is also the possibly of a natural or supernatural-natured disease, though this is a fairly rare, in most cases.

In most cases Zombies will transmit their undead condition, like a virus to those who are bitten or clawed by a zombie. If not treated by an effective cure or vaccine, that person can become infected, though incubation and transformation times are varied, ranging of a few minutes to a number of days. Symptoms include fever, loss of color, appitite for normal food, the glazing over of eyes. However to really know if someone has been infected that person should be tested by a professional doctor or Magic-user trained to identify the condition of Zombification.

Weaknesses, strengths and means of destruction:

First and foremost if someone has it in their head to hunt down and destroy zombies do extensive and indepth research, and consult with experts who have studied and/or hunted Zombies. Now as to weaknesses and strengths, all zombies since they are undead are unaffected by any form of illusion or confusion magic. Zombies created by a necromancer of some kind are in most cases controlled in their actions. Cold magic or cold using weapons typically have no effect on Zombies. Fire if used in a controlled manner has the effect of destroying zombies, in most cases, but must only be used as a last resort. And yes as they are unliving, poison has no effect of anykind on Zombies.

Electricity in any form, in most cases has no effect at all, like sending current through wet sand or mud. Acid like fire is somewhat effective, but not a usuall method. The most tried and true form of dispatching a Zombie is either a massive trauma to the brain of the creature, this of course includes decapitation, blunt force trauma to the brain, a direct shot with bullet or arrow to the head or use of a bladed weapon to cause sufficient damage to the head, when decapitation is not used. As long as the brain is destoryed, that is all that matters.

I hope this information will help, though as i said, if you wish to hunt zombies, take the time to do your research, consult with other zombie hunters and experts, and if at all possible gather a party of other hunters to help wipe out an infestation. Never if you can help it, hunt zombies by yourself. Thankyou for reading this treatsie, and have a good day."
