It wasn't unusual to see Aja walk into Parker's place at random hours of the day or night. Aside from Parker being Arcadia and the Yards mage and medic, he was also Aja's most trusted advisor for a great many things.

Aja looked around the waiting room, a few town folk were there, she stopped to check on them. There were a couple people with a few cuts, some scrapes and two people that seemed to be suffering with flu like symptoms. Aja took care of the lighter wounds right there in the waiting room. She was looking at a deeper cut that came via an accident with a kitchen knife when Robberie, Parker's apprentice came out to assist.

"I can heal that wound, Miss Aja." he said in his smooth dulcet tone. She smiled up at him.

"I'm jist helpin out, Robbie." she got up from her kneel to allow Robberie to take the person to the back. "Ya gotta be more careful wiff da kitchen utensils, Martha." Aja gently teased the woman she had been looking at. "They bite." Martha chuckled a little.

"A lesson well learned, Miss Aja." the portly woman smiled. "Thank you."

"Robbie will get ya fixed up in a jiff." Aja watched them go and then looked to the ones with flu symptoms. "Ya two, I can't do a thing fer. Sorry." she did however step to the desk and handed the pair a box of Kleenex to share while they waited. "I'm sure Narium will be out shortly. He's got a decent tonic dat will have ya feelin better in no time flat." she paused with a grin. "I'd advise just slammin it down, though. It smells funny and tastes worse."

One of the men smiled at her, sniffled and nodded.

"Thanks for the tip." he said and Aja nodded. She turned towards the back and proceeded to go through to the other side, the one that Parker generally handled on his own. It was the waiting room for her men. She was happy to see only one of her guys there.

"Aw, Effram, whut did ya do?"

"Bad rope burn, Boss." he held up his hand and Aja stepped to him and took a look.

"Ya fergot ta be wearin yer gloves, didn't ya?"

"Yes, Ma"am." he answered sheepishly.

"Tsk tsk." Aja made a noise while she searched Parker's work bench for the creme she knew he'd put on that injury and went back to Effram. "Dis will fix ya up." she put it on the wound and then reached for the gauze to wrap it up. "And don't ferget ta be wearin yer darn gloves or I'm gonna whack ya upside da head wiff "em."

"Yes, Captain." the man replied solemnly as she wrapped up his hand.

"Come back in four hours, have Parker take another look. He'll dose ya again if it needs it." she tied off the gauze. "And don't be gettin dat wet."

"Aye, Aye captain." he said and got up. "Thanks."

"Anytime." she watched him go.

"You have a interesting bedside manner, Aja." Parker said from behind her as he ushered another man out of the office. One of her other crew members that she had heard had cut his leg.

"He alright?" She nodded after the man and Parker smiled as he answered.

"He's fine."

"Cool." Aja then wandered about Parker's area, randomly messing with things on the bench. She eyed up whatever potion he had brewing up in the glass tube still curiously. This one was an interesting shade of bluish green that bubbled and smoked. "Whut da heck is dis?"

"A potion to heal deeper wounds." Parker answered patiently as he watched her.

"Huh." was all she said to it before turning to look at him. "So, whutcha know about plagues?"

"There are many kinds. Various ones can kill within mere hours, others can leave the person suffering for days from which they may or may not recover from."

"Huh." she said again thoughtfully.

"Why do you ask?" Parker inquired. Aja usually had motives when it came to random questions she would come ask him about anything medical related.

"Been hearin rumors of a guy sellin plagues ta da highest bidders." she moved around as she spoke, Parker was long used to her inability to stay still for long, especially if she was in the midst of plotting something.

"I see." he watched her pick up one of his potions and inspect it. "And you plan to do what about this man?"

"Not much yet." Aja said, setting the potion back down. "Dillion is off doing some recon I think. See whut da deal is. If it's a legit threat or jist some crazy ramblings."

"Dillion?" Parker inquired curiously. Aja's various associates were as vast in specialities as they were in numbers. She tended to collect a wide variety of friends, some that had questionable skills. He knew Aja used whatever she could to get a job done. He'd seen on either and both sides of the proverbial law fence when it came to achieving whatever mission objective or goal she had in mind. There were times, Aja didn't see things as right or wrong, just as something to be dealt with in pursuit of a bigger payoff down the line.

"A ...friend in town." she answered in her careful manner. "He's got an interest in this sort of thing."

"I see." Parker's face scrunched the tiniest bit, but enough where Aja picked up on it. She knew that scrunch well, it was the "This child is going to wind up in a heap of trouble" scrunch.

"Oh don't go makin Parker face number seven at me." she grinned at him. "I'll be jist fine."

"I'm sure you will be." he returned her smile, even though he never could truly not worry about her.

Yes, Dillon was doing recon.

The man that flew from the window of the second story would consider it something else. Like a really good cross hook to his jaw and shove that sent him out into the street below.

He might of gotten some solace in the fact his associates were currently rushing at Dillon with a feverish intensity of someone who sees a stranger come into their home and take a leak on their couch.

The next man had Dillon dancing to the side as his elbow came up to stop the momentum of the baseball bat he wielded one hand. Dillon's flesh met the man's at the wrist, and a second later he turned to put his other elbow into the man's jaw. Dislocating it with a precise blow that sent the man down.

The man went down, but it didn't even pause the others that came. Dillon went on the offensive and went with the momentum in a simple two step sprint that had him tackling the closest man and tossing him into two of his friends in a rough pile. It didn't do much until Dill jumped up and grabbed an overhead light fixture to rip it down on the trio in a rough sound of heavy metal and shattering glass.

It was about then the mad rush to get to the man stopped. The rest of the group stopped and immediately rethought their plans. One of the more aggressive of them kicked a heavy chair Dillon's way. Who immediately caught it and sent it right back into the man's face with a shattering of wood into splinters. It sent the man to the ground without question and cemented the sudden lack of offense from the group.

There was a wide grin curling over the man's lips slowly as he stood there for a second. Standing in a half circle of men who were not closing in on him anymore. He roared. Pacing a step forward like he was going to come at them. They scattered throughout the room and went for the nearest exits. Dillon was left there, watching this before he let his grin die and casually walked on over the only door in the place the other men didn't run to.

It made logical sense the man Dillon wanted to talk to, was behind it.

He kicked the door off the hinges rather than just opening it. Which was a good idea, it sailed through the air and smashed into the desk of the the man cowered behind it. With a firearm. He didn't even get a chance to aim it at the hole in the wall Dillon made, the other man was already kneeling on his desk before the door came to a complete stop.

The weapon was still in his hand, but aimed down to the ground in the chaos of the last few seconds. And the fact Dillon was so close, made him think twice about trying to aim it at the man. He just dropped it. The clatter of metal on the ground brought out a happy growl from the man kneeling on the desk.

"Hello." Dillon casually rumbled out to the man. "My name is Dillon..."

"...Jones?" After a moment or two, the man asked with a definite edge of fear.

"Yes! Isn't this a nice coincidence. I don't have to explain what I will do to you if you answer me untruthfully." The kneel became a full sit as Dillon moved on the desk and rested on the edge.

"Now, I am asking about biological weapons in town. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?" Dillon asked as he picked up an apple from the bowl nearby that somehow had survived the carnage.

"No! No! I swear! I don't deal in biological weapons!" The man behind the desk waved his hands quickly. Truth pouring out of him.

"Oh, I know that." Dillon responded before he took a bite of his new apple.

"...Then why are you here"!" Truth turned into confusion, then into panic in the same breath.

"Because, I just want to know if you knew anything....You're the fifth person I've visited today and I got seven more to go after you before I got into work....so..." Dillon chewed on the bit of apple, even as he talked. Other hand coming around to open up in the air. The man's fallen pistol jumping into a grip that curled comfortably around the butt of it.

It didn't aim at the man, but it was enough.

"...Let's talk about Bio Weapons.? The grin that curled over Dillon's lips promised truth, in all forms.

The incoming storm had certainly put a damper on any recon work Aja herself had been doing. She'd simply been too busy prepping shelters and orphanages to be able to handle being snowed in all weekend and potentially beyond.

It wasn't like she had forgotten about it, there simply was no time to devote to it this week. That didn't mean she didn't keep her ear to the ground for criminal activity as she traveled around getting things done.

A warehouse she found while scouting locations along her route to dispose of the excess snow once the storm had passed, revealed that a nasty bunch of criminals had taken up residence there.

Due to her sense of humor, she took her truck and plowed a massive amount of snow against all the exits she could easily maneuver the truck to, effectively blocking them in. Then she phoned Rachael, who worked with the Watch to alert her to the warehouses presence.

As for the black market, it seemed that they too had taken the week off. Aja couldn't find a single soul who was doing any sort of that kind of business.

Time. She thought. There would be time. —Well. She was hoping there was anyway.

The days passed by. They came and went as most of her days did. Busy. Productive and filled with responsibilities.

As she prepared for her next project that could benefit RhyDin City, she caught the scent of someone at the docks who seemed fairly shady. Slipping a tracker aboard the suspect vessel had been no sweat for her. She'd monitor the vessel. Where it went, which ports it stopped into.

RhyDin City was not her home. But she knew plenty of people who did call it so. She'd do what she had to do to ensure its safety.
