Hochi stood at the bow of the The Odyssey, his newly acquired vessel. It was a beautiful ship, sure it wasn't built by the careful hands of Aja, but he loved it nonetheless. It was 50m in length and held a crew of 25. Had three masts, 10 cannons on either side, and a very large cargo hold. Thanks to the previous owner's occupation, slaver traders. He chuckled to himself thinking about her checking every inch meticulously, writing down upgrades, or improvements that would have to be done all in the name of safety for her crazed adventurer. He missed her so much, it had been a long time since he had stepped foot in Rhydin. So much had happened since then, he wondered how things were going in the shipyard, whether or not if Peanut still played around the docks. He knew Lenny missed that monkey. The beagle was at Hochi's side, time had shown itself on the dog. The two companions had seen their fair share of trouble and death defying exploits. Hochi reached down scratching that sweet spot which made Lenny's eyes close happily. He turned from the bow and headed toward his cabin spotting Martin as he headed over.
"Sir, do we have a heading, or should I start the usual procedure and pick a random direction?" Martin grinned, the man needed the rush of adventure much like himself.
"Uh, I think we should make a heading toward the Alabaster peninsula, we need to drop off a bit of cargo and crew, if they want off, before we can go home Martin." Hochi smiled, as he brushed past Martin. He opened the ornate mahogany doors going to into the Captain's quarters. His quarters were decorated with a few trophies, one was an ancient orcish war axe. The same axe that nearly took the head of martin. His eyes moved to his map table which was covered in scrolls, books, parchments with strange markings on them, and a smattering of runes. As he walked across the room he passed by the table looking at his charts estimating how long before he would see home again. It would only be a few days. He moved to his bed and flopped down onto it closing his eyes. Lenny laid down in his own bed as the two companions fell asleep.
