Aja stood looking at the latest additions to the back of Avalon Island's bay and smiled.
At least some seeking refuge from RhyDin City chaos would have a great view when they woke up every morning. She chuckled a bit when the thought of if some of them slept walked came to mind. Talk about getting rudely awakened.
She was one person. Ok. One person with a crew of five hundred plus. All of them doing all they could to make the transition from RhyDin City to this tropical paradise as smooth as they could for those seeking to get away from the recent bout of Anti-magic rhetoric that had popped up again in RhyDin City.
Not all of the residents that moved to Arcadia were magically inclined, some just feared for their lives in general. The crossfire between the sides was indiscriminate in who it would affect. Neither side seemed willing or able to let the ridiculous notion pass by without comment.
"Boss?" a voice cut into her thought then.
"I didn't do it!" Aja turned and grinned at David who apparently had called her name once or twice without her hearing him.
"Of course not." He smiled. "Are they ready fer moving in?"
"They are. Guys all set?" she asked standing up from the railing.
"Should be neat and orderly." he informed her.
"Excellent." she smiled. "Proceed." Aja walked down the deck, back towards the mainland, letting the men move in some of the residents to the newly completed over the water bungalows.
