A twin" Seriously' Sivanna's magic revealed the birthmark of the Bird children on Ajia, same as she did on her. So there was no mistaking it. Aja now had a sister.

Aja paced around her den that night, unable to bring herself to wake Padriq. He would no doubt stay up with her, let her ramble on, but given that he already ran himself into the ground on a daily basis, she was unwilling to disturb his sleep.

She could go to Tru's, as he was her best friend. But that too, created other issues. And Aja decided to mull it over on her own.

A twin. The thought shot through her head like a cannonball. Someone else in the world that looked like her. That explained that guy in that port that one time. Swearing he knew her. So..that meant her sister sailed too.

Fate, it seemed, was funny.

Ajia Bird. Aja and Ajia. Oh, that wasn't going to get confusing at all. What were her parents thinking with those names"

Parents. The thought made her stop and stare into the fire, as she focused on the mental image of the picture in Ballentine Castle and the only time she had seen image proof she belonged to a family. She remembered thinking about how painfully beautiful her mother was. Her father, strikingly handsome. The pair in the painting were works of art in life too it seemed. Good hearted, kind, loving people who cared for the citizens of Ballentine. Ones that were taken away too soon.

She shook the thought from her head. They weren't who needed to be thought of right now. Ajia. The twin. Another victim to Serm's greed for the throne to be his and his alone.

Hopefully, her twin had never meet the eldest Bird. His brutality and his vicious nature were not something anyone should've ever been subjected to.

She knew from stopping by the Dragon's Lair, that Ajia had been there. Albie, the barkeep, still recovering from the confusion of the look alike of his boss, told her that much.

So. Now. There were two of her running around. Oh. That could be fun. But first. Figure out if they could get along.

What if her twin had had a horrible life? What if something truly tragic happened to her that twisted the very nature of the Bird family' To go from being loving and kind...to hateful and mean.

Aja shook her head. That wasn't the nature of the person she met tonight. Ajia seemed nervous. Apprehensive.

She slapped Tru. Glaring difference in the twins there. Aja let things like that roll, Ajia it seemed took a little more offense to things. So. There were things that were different in them already.

Aja poured a drink and thought over the night's events.
