A young woman run into the main building of the watch her clothes and hair in a state of major disarray she was nearly out of breath as she reached the shift officers desk, he quickly called for someone to bring her a seat and something warm to drink as he moved to in front of the desk "miss are you hurt tell me what happened."
After sipping the tea she had been brought she relayed the events that brought her there, "I was walking home from doing some late shopping in the market place, I was was running late so I decided to cut through one of the alley ways, I know it was a stupid thing to do, I was nearly half way through when a man stepped in front of me, he had been drinking I could smell the alcohol on his breath. He grabbed me by the arm nearly ripping my dress and started to run his free hand through my hair,
then he leaned in close to me and whispered in my ear," you're a pretty one how about you and I have some fun, I tried to pull away as I yelled no leave me alone."
"No street b_tch refuses me. And he gave me a hard shove onto some bags of trash on the ground "that's when I heard it'
"Heard what." the officer said.
"A loud low growl then a cat back as midnight leaped from above, the cat was enormous, even bigger than the cats that travel with the people on those flying things."
"Did the cat hurt you?"
"No just the opposite it stood with its back to me and seemed to be protecting me then the man drew a knife and waved it in front of the cat taughting it and the cat stepped toward him growling the man backed up and so did the cat and I hear a low deep growl from above and into space between them leaped another man at least I think it was a man he was dressed in black from head to toe even a hooded mask over his face. The hooded man spoke his voice human but like a growl of a big cat at the same time.
"The lady said no and told you to leave her alone."
The man who was attacking me replied 'stay out of this freak" and pushed the knife toward him.
"Have it your way then, the hooded man drew four knives and held them in one hand in a single move he drew the four blades across the other man's shirt shredding the front, thinking about it know it looked like claw marks, as the two of them fought I slipped away and ran here." A loud bang at the main door followed by a loud deep growl drew everyone's attention when the door was opened a man low across the top step
"That's him, that's the man who attacked me.? Not only was there what looked like claw cuts across the front of this shirt as the woman had described but also across both arms and one leg. The man was shaking as if struck by lightning. A note was pinned to what was left of his shirt with a spiked throwing disc printed in simple scriped was the message A gift for the watch and it was signed Catamount.
