Carley

Carley wasn't much one for worrying over muchly, or thinking about bad things, or sitting around and watching others worry and think of bad things....Honestly, the little elf tired of seeing Lydia worry over this and that, specifically the lack of funds for certain projects. If, and that was a big if in Carley's opinion, Lydia and Griffith's uniform design to Matt was accepted, there would be a budget deficit. Then there was the decided lack of charity towards certain unfortunates - such as those rendered orphans or in a poor state as a result of the various market bombings that took place mere months ago. Already, so many had forgotten about them! Even Carley hadn't quite forgotten...

So rather than worry and think, Carley opted to do. She figured it was time to try something, and doing something good never hurt anyone, eh' Plus, if Lydia and Griffith's design didn't make it, surely she could pocket some of the money she planned to be making today! So what if she had to lie to Lydia about what she would be doing today in order to get out of working at The Stitch' Ends justified means!

David was kind enough to lend her his stall at the market - which used to be her old stall before she took up working at A Stitch in Time. It was at a good location, out of direct sunlight and right at one of the main pathways, so many people ended up passing by. It was just a matter of reeling them in and selling her goods. Said goods were displayed on her table and consisted of a few antique looking items she managed to acquire from her cousin. Urns, vases, icons, knick knacks, and eclectic 'costume jewelry'. Alongside those were also a few plush items and ragdolls Lydia had been making as of late - Carley simply planned to jack up the price some before selling those. Lydia didn't charge nearly enough for things....And she still had a bamboo sword or two from Jenli that needed to be peddled off.

Now" It was just all about reeling in customers. And surely that wouldn't be hard, as Carley was the absolute picture of innocence in her little white, feathered beret, blue shorts and vest, light blue striped stockings and a pretty, 'girl next door' smile. It wouldn't be any time at all before she reeled in some suck- er....customers! So as people passed by, the elf worked to catch their attention.

"Hey there mister! How about a pretty little doll for yer daughter there" I'm sure she'd love it!"

"Ya interested in antiques miss" Well I got this genuine Umarth Icon from the Yaara Porm Era! It's guaranteed to bring the owner bad luck, so it makes a great gift for the inlaws!"

"What about you? Ya like dolls" These are hand crafted and profits go to a good cause! ..hey kid don't touch if yer not buyin'..."

"I got these bamboo swords too, straight from Jenli! Ya gotta hurry to get these though since I only got two left. The others sold like hotcakes, given their excellent quality and durability."

"Well what about you? Ya interested in takin' a look at what I got?"
