A table was set up in the Market Place, manned by a tall, lanky young man who turned bright red any time a female came to sign up. Patrick, by order of the Captain, was on duty to take team sign ups for the next three days.

Riley, who was prone to such things, gave the lanky man a wink and a little come-hither smile as she turned in her team's registration form. Once he'd taken it, she perched on the edge of the table and twirled a tendril of sable hair around one slender finger. "You know," she purred. "I think we'll be called Team First, 'cos well...we'll be first across the finish line. And plus we're the first to sign up, right?" she added with a knowing smirk.

The poor man was entirely too dumbfounded to answer and Riley leaned over to press a kiss against the tip of his nose before sashaying away, giggling evilly. David would, no doubt, be amused by the tale of the blushing registrar. Flirting was better than face-ripping after all.
