Saturday, October 8th, take a break from election weekend with the cage match to end all cage matches! Our gubernatorial candidates will face one another in a duel of fists showdown at 10:00 PM by the Eastern Clock. This year, head out to Overlord's Isle in the bay, west of the city, for a good old fashioned throwdown.
First we brought you the three tier Crucible. Last year came the razor wire Hell In A Cell. This year, we're throwing it way back (and down) with The Pit.

Built just a stone's throw from the Overlord's Manor, The Pit looks like any old fighting hole. Appearances are deceiving! At its deepest, the pit sits six feet below the ground while a raised wooden deck surrounds the twenty foot diameter hole. Spectators are welcome to climb the observation deck to watch Katt Batten, Francis Collins, and Ammy Spiritor duke it out in a three way brawl down below in the mud. The sloped bars of the lip of the pit is lined with barbed wire to prevent anyone from getting in or out. Once they've entered through an underground hatch, nobody leaves until the victor has been declared. As the duel progresses and high tide rolls in, the sandy walls will slowly disintegrate to fill the ring with wet muck until the combatants are fighting not only each other but also being swallowed up by the isle.
There can only be one winner! So come out and cheer on your favorite candidates as they fight for your vote in the 2016 Gubernatorial Election!
