Robert Kidd, while his brother Stephen was busy at the docks took the time to campaign in the marketplace.

Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great election. No Men, this stuff some sources sling around about RhyDin wanting to stay out of the war and not wanting to fight is a lot of baloney! RhyDinianasaes love to fight, traditionally. All real RhyDinianasaes love the sting and clash of battle. RhyDin loves a winner. RhyDin will not tolerate a loser. RhyDinianss despise a coward; RhyDinianasaess play to win. That's why RhyDin has never lost and never will lose a war. You are not all going to die. Only two percent of you, right here today, would be killed in a major election. Death must not be feared. Death, in time, comes to all of us. And every man is scared in his first action. If he says he's not, he's a goddamn liar. Some men are cowards, yes, but they fight just the same, or get the hell slammed out of them. When the time comes, when you put your hand in a pile of goo that used to be your friends face you will know what to do. We're going to grab those other canidates by the nose and kick them in the ass! We're going to keep kicking them till there is nothing left, we are going to run through them like crap through a goose!

You will bring about the destruction of the Helston political machine, the elimination of Feline tyranny over the oppressed peoples of RhyDin, and security for ourselves in a free world.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped, and battle-hardened. She will fight savagely, and possibly claw you like cats are apt to do.

We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of RhyDinianasaess - born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage - and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this Nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world

And so, my fellow RhyDinianasaess: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.

I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the RhyDin dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I am Robert Kidd. And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny! You have come to fight as free men. And free man you are! What will you do without freedom' Will you fight?"

Fight and you may die. Run and you will live at least awhile. And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young men and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take our freedom!

We have nothing to fear but fear itself, and a chicken in every pot!
