Accompanied by some of her family, Colleen stood on the steps of the courthouse. Newspapers and other media would carry the story.

"Good afternoon." She cleared her throat. "When I retired last night, Mr. Adder was leading the polls. When I woke this morning it was to the laughter of my five year old daughters and the announcement that I had just been elected Governor of Rhydin. I am both honored and humbled by this responsibility. I offer a great deal of thanks to my family and friends for supporting me. I would also like to thank my opponents in this election, Samuel Adder and Jesse."

Questions flew from every direction and Colleen held up her hands in a hold on a minute fashion. "I'll be glad to answer your questions when I have finished speaking." Muttering went through the crowd. "In the next week or so, I'll be setting up my own schedule and plans for how I will be addressing any questions and problems facing the city. Any of you that attended my Q&A sessions have already heard me admit to not knowing everything. That may have been unwise, but it was honest. In light of that, I'm asking that Jesse meets with me regarding the needs and rights of the undead in the city. She has been attempting to champion their cause for a long time and hasn't always been taken seriously. Anyone else, including Nick Cross, who addressed the matter with me, is asked to contact me at Governor's Office."

"With regard to my plans for expanding emergency services in the city, I hope to meet with Johnny Storm, who has a great deal of experience in this area. As I stated previously, Old Market and Old Temple are covered well and it's time for the rest of the city to have better equipment and facilities. I would also like to meet with hospital and clinic representatives, especially those that treat citizens in need without concern for their ability to pay. Whether it is city funds, private donations, or volunteering our time, these places are in need of our support. I have similar plans and ideas for improving educational facilities."

"I would like to meet with Thorn of the Dreamchasing Foundation and Caroline Granger of the Granger Guild regarding the Small Business Fund and how it should be operating. Both of these women have experience that I do not. Their help would invaluable to the city in getting things in order for how the fund should properly be used and distributed."

"The question of addiction regarding certain types of businesses and facilities in the city was brought up in questions to Samuel Adder during his campaign. It invites the question as to how much responsibility does a business owner have to customers to curtail their activities if they are a potential danger to themselves or others. I'd like to meet with Samuel to discuss this at his convenience."

Someone in her entourage gave her a bottle of water. After downing about half of it, she continued. "As we bring this to a close and go inside for questions, I would like to remind all of you that there will be public opportunities to take photos of my young children and grandchildren. Outside of that, please respect their privacy. Mairead Harker is a public figure in her own right. However, I suggest not playing a game of "Run from the Paparazzi" with her. As for my husband, Darien Fenner, his whereabouts are currently unknown and I will not be answering any questions about him. I thank you for you time and attention."

She went into the courthouse.

((Anyone that has characters that want to ask Collie questions, please post them in The Governor's Office. Thank you for voting for the Old Broad. :) ))
