"My fellow Rhy"Din Citizens, it has been an honor to be a candidate for the office of governor over the last two months. It's been a long, hard race, and I want to thank my opponents for their well-run candidacy, and I wish them all the best. Now all is in the hands of you, the voters, the citizens of this city, to make your choice of who will be the Governor of Rhy"Din over the coming year.

"Why have I stepped up and run for this esteemed office" Here are two of my reasons."

He looked to the side and his two young boys were brought to him.

"Here are my sons, Marius and Hunter. I want to see them grow up in a city that is safe and which affords them every opportunity for happiness in life. In my one-year term as governor, here is what I would do for them. . . and for you."

He held up a large poster that enumerated the points as he described them.

* An end to lawlessness and priority to establishing peace on our streets and upon our seas

* Improved Economy with a Rhy"Din Department of Commerce to be established

* Improved Education with a Rhy"Din Department of Education to be established

* Greater opportunities for excitement, adventure and romance

* A clean-up of our beaches and shoreline

* More participation of our citizens in running this city and providing forums where your voice and suggestions might be heard.

* More men (good men) in the RDI

"These are the seven areas that I will concentrate on during my year as your governor. I will be looking for people who will want to become involved in running our city. I have no intention of doing this alone. If I am your governor, I will seek to have active participation of as many of you as possible.

"Finally, my campaign contributions have amounted to the appreciable sum of 30,000 silver crowns. I have not used that money and I desire to channel it back into our city. If I am your governor I promise to use this money for this city's education and special grants to get new businesses established.

"My wife, Tara Rynieyn Longden, my sons, and I thank you for all your support and encouragement during this long and difficult campaign. We look forward to serving you should I be elected.

"I encourage you all to vote no matter who is your preference for governor. This is YOUR Rhy"Din. Monday and Tuesday, the 29th and 30th, are the days set aside for voting, so take the few moments to get out and vote!

"Thank you!?
