All across town, wherever a campaign poster for Talomar Longden hung, a band of dockside layabouts, sailors, and other various street neer-do-wells affixed a broad white sticker, just under the preening face of the Vampire Lord.

"Vote for the Rapist!", read some. "Slaver for Governor!" read others, "Won't take No for an Answer!", "Governor for (Un)Life!", and "Wolf seeking Fold!" were also included. Any detailed questioning of the crew would draw claims of ignorance, only that they had been provided with coin and the stickers and given their instructions by an unknown man of differing descriptions.

It was, it seems, time to shed some sunlight on the character of the favored candidate.
