"Dean, it's time to go home."

Dean heard a familiar voice and looked up to find a tall, dark-haired man in a trench coat standing in front of him, a solemn expression on his face. Dean immediately recognized him. He'd know that face anywhere. It was the face of the angel who'd yanked him out of Hell. Castiel.

"Took you long enough to find us," Dean replied, turning back to the guns that were spread across the table, fastidiously cleaning each one. "What have you been doing for the last month' Playing Cowboys and Indians with Raphael?"

"We're fighting a war, Dean. We don't have time for this."

"We" There's no I in we, Cas. You're fighting a war. We're not. And what?s this?"

"This..." The angel spread his arms wide, indicating Rhydin as a whole. There was a war going on for control of Heaven and he didn't have time to explain what Dean already knew.

"How'd we get here?" Dean asked, setting the .45 on the table, good as new. "We've been dicking around here for like a month, trying to figure out how to get home. We came through the portal as kids, Cas. I didn't relish my childhood the first time around, and I didn't really enjoy the re-runs much either."

"I sent you here," the angel replied, looking slightly puzzled. "As adults, not children."

"For what? To get us out of the way for awhile?"

"Something like that," Castiel replied.

"So, you send us here for a timeout' If you wanted us to take a vacation, why didn't you just send us to Disneyland?"

"Disneyland is not safe. You're....safer here. Harder to find."

"Jesus, Cas....It's a rhetorical question. You worried the big bad demons are gonna get us" We've been down that road before."

"No, I'm more worried about Raphael."

"Yeah, well....we can take care of ourselves. We've been doing it a long time."

"So you keep reminding me, until you need my help."

"So, you toss us into Rhydin to keep us safe from Raph's thugs and now you want to jerk us back. Has the danger passed?"

"There is always danger, Dean."

"You can't keep doing this, Cas! Jerking me....us....around like puppets. I had a life here once. I was happy, and you took it away."

"You don't belong here, Dean."

"Then quit sending us here!"

The angel quietly contemplated before answering. "Your soul was torn in two. Part of it was here, while the other part was with Sam."

"I already know that, so what?s your point, Captain Obvious?"

"A fragmented soul is unnatural, Dean. It would have destroyed you in the end. I had no choice but to bring you back and....put you back together."

"Look, I'm not complaining. I didn't like being Humpty Dumpty either. I know we don't belong here, but..."

"Who is Humpty Dumpty?" the angel asked, arching a brow.

"Never mind. Look, just....Gimme a few more days. That's all I'm asking. I've got unfinished business."

"What's her name?"

"What's whose name?"

"The unfinished business."

Dean frowned, as the angel hit the nail on the head. "Lilli."

"Time is of the essence, Dean. We don't have time for your romantic dalliances."

"This isn't a dalliance. You know, I liked the Mad Max version of you better. You were a lot more fun when you were stoned."

"I beg your pardon?"

Dean ignored the angel's question and continued. "You're gonna poof us right back to where we left off, right?"

"Yes."

"Then, what?s the problem?"

"The longer you're gone, the harder is it for me to bring you back."

"A few days, Cas. That's all I'm asking."

The angel contemplated a moment again. "A few days, no more, to finish your....business."

"Thanks, Cas, you're a..." The angel disappeared before Dean could finish his thought. "Dick."
