Bio: Brian Morgan was born to a preacher and his wife in the small town of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, post WWII. He joined the army at the first opportunity, just to get out of his small town, and travelled around with the military until an incident involving a couple of unexplained deaths secured his dishonorable discharge in 1981. He didn't know anything about the Life until, in April of the year he was discharged, in Bertrand, Nebraska, he inadvertantly saved Marsha Delaney from the demon she was hunting at the time. He was instantly smitten, and despite her insistence that being around her was dangerous, followed her across several state lines until she gave him a choice - to learn about the Life from a friend of hers, or to go away. He chose to learn, and she sent him to Bobby Singer, securing for him a friendship that would be lifelong.

A year later, Brian and Marsha were married, and embarked on several successful hunts together for the next three years. However, when Marsha fell pregnant, they decided it was time to step away from actively hunting, and began to look into setting up a new way-point for other hunters, settling on Chicago as their base of operations. When, in December 1985, Marsha and their newborn daughter died as a result of complications to do with the birth, Brian went a little off the rails, plunging himself wildly into unplanned and stupid hunts, courting Death at every turn.

It was another hunter, Rufus Turner, who eventually tracked him down and brought him around to sanity once again. Returning to what Marsha had originally intended to do, Brian bought a rundown saloon bar on the waterfront of Lake Michigan, in Chicago, and has run it as a way-point and place of safety for hunters ever since.

When, in 2009, a mysterious young woman appeared in his back alley, bleeding and with no memory of herself or where she had come from, Brian took her in, gave her his daughter's name, and offered her a place in his home and as a part of his sadly depleted family. Nim accepted, and they developed a close friendship over the years she lived with him. Despite initial distrust of the new Dean Winchester who arrived in the same fashion a couple of years later, Brian gave him his blessing to take Nim away from the Landing.

Brian provides the same sort of service to hunters as Bobby Singer does, posing as various heads of department for the authorities in Illinois over the phone to provide good cover stories for the various hunters passing through the state. He also will pass on word of various hunts or suspicions to hunters passing through his bar, or do a little research if asked.

Bio: Born of a brief fling between Kate Milligan and John Winchester during one of his solo hunts in 1990, Ayden Milligan grew up pretty much the responsibility of her single parent mother, making her own meals and putting herself to bed while Kate worked the graveyard shift to make ends meet. She was unaware of her father until her twelfth birthday, when John began to make an effort to get back to Minnesota once a year to see his daughter.

She never knew what it was her father did for a living until the year that the children of the ghoul he'd killed when she was conceived set a trap for John using Kate and Ayden as bait. It was during this period that she gained the twins scars on her inner forearms, a memento of being prepared to be a ghoul's supper. John saved her life, and Kate's, and finally told Ayden what it was he did. He also told her about his sons - her brothers. When he returned for her birthday that year, he gave her an anti-possession charm to wear, making her promise never to take it off.

Despite concern over John's absences from her seventeenth birthday onward, Ayden chose to study pre-med at the University of Wisconsin. During her second year there, she was approached by Zachariah, who attempted to force her to agree to be Michael's Vessel as a part of his plan to trick Dean into doing just that. Not understanding what was going on, or why she was being persecuted by angels, Ayden was forced to watch her mother die from several unpleasant complications brought on by Zachariah himself. It is unknown why he then left her on her own with her mother's body.

Left with little choice, Ayden called John's phone, and spoke to Sam for the first time. Bobby Singer drove out from Sioux Falls to collect her and bring her to safety, where she met both her brothers for the first time. Out of a need to protect their baby sister, the Winchester brothers hatched a plan to say yes to both Michael and Lucifer, a plan in which she played a part. When the time came, Ellen, Bobby, and Castiel took Ayden to Stull Cemetary, where the presence of the only family they had in the immediate blast zone gave Dean and Sam the strength to overcome Michael and Lucifer just long enough to kill the archangels.

The Apocalypse averted, Ayden was sent back to Minnesota, the hunters determined to keep her out of The Life, despite her objections. When she came to terms with that, Ayden settled back to her studies, gaining entry to Stanford University to study medicine with a full ride, starting the summer of 2011. She resumed a somewhat normal life, despite knowing what she knows, kept out of contact with Bobby and Ellen, though they keep an eye on her from a distance.

When Dean reappeared in this AU, the information was kept from her at first. However, Ellen soon called, and Ayden rushed to South Dakota to be reunited with her brother. She keeps in regular contact now; her visions are proving useful.

Bio: The product of an abusive father, Bobby never speaks of his childhood or his parents. He became a hunter after the death of his first wife, Karen, who had been possessed by a demon. Together the couple helped raise the Winchester boys, who they thought of as sons, as they had no children of their own. Family is extremely important to Bobby, and though he has no blood relatives of his own, there is nothing he won't do for those he considers family.
