At the top of the highest dune the petite elf could find, she sat gazing out into slowly darkening sky. The sunset painted a beautiful canvas with brilliant hues of violets, scarlet and gold that despite its beauty, brought back the surrealistic blood bath of lightening quick images to which she bore witness empathically. The gentle sea breeze washed over Eless, toying with her golden hair and slipping some strands from where she had pulled them back and pinned them with fragrant sprigs of blue and white freesia.
