Waking with the sun, momma slid through the chambers of their lair. The first task of the morning would be making sure the dragonlings and children were fed.

Fruit, vegetables and juice to those who did not eat meat, and wyvern, freshly killed the day before would be breakfast for the growing dragonlings.

Her sister and mate would be the next to feed, and as always, she would wait until last. Eating enough to last a few days.

Next she would slip through the falls, letting the frigid water soak into her scaly hide. Wings unfurled soon and under Tiamatus, and Damean's guard, she'd glide to the gardens below.

Talons would dig at the soil a bit, as she awaited her mate and the childrens' descent. She would not start to plant without them.

*Aurthur made his appearance not long after his mate had descended into the gardens, but oddly enough, he didn't come from the lair, he came from the forest. He rumbled and nuzzled his mate in greeting, but gave no explanation of where he had been or what he had doing. There was, however, dirt upon his claws already.*

Good morning my love. Ready to start planting the gardens? It's a perfect day for it. The sun is bright, and the temperature isn't too hot, nor too cold. And it looks like the soil will produce some fine flowers this year.

Not soon after, Aurak would stroll out of the lair, following his mother. He was in his human form as always because if he wasn't he would likely not be able to live in the lair due to space restrictions.

Breakfast was good, he had a bit of wyvern and some fruit, making sure to leave plenty to go around as he knew the younger ones needed it more than he.

He floated down to the garden, but instead of landing he just hovered a few feet off the ground as if touching it might ruin the soil or something of the like.

Aurak looked at his mother with questioning expression, unsure of what to do other then wait for the others.

A purr sounded as her mate gave her a nuzzle, and soon a smile as their son joined them.

Lowering a fore claw to the soil, she would show Aurak how she scooped a bit of soil away to form a small hole in the ground.

Soon a few seeds would be nudged his and her mate's way. Though she herself would wait for the rest of the young ones to join them.

Aurak dropped to the ground and inspected the soil.

"Simple enough." He muttered

He would lean down to pick up a seed, which would receive a fair amount of scrutiny.

After a fair inspection he would look back at his mother, noticing that she was waiting he would do the same.

Well, don't just stand there......Dig in! *See what he did there? Perhaps someone had been around Leroy a little too often. Aurthur chuckled as he started to dig holes and drop seeds in. The garden was huge, and the project of planting all the seeds was going to take a few days, at least.*

There may have been a rare smile from the black as she watched her sister and kin from her perch.

She had taken up her position on a nearby ledge, just opposite of Tiamatus. Damean remained perched on an opposing ledge along the way.

By now, the dragonlings had joined their mother, father, and sibling in the gardens, and she kept watch from overhead. With Spring, would come the wyverns and other predators.

While most kept far from an adult dragon, one might be tempted by a younger child. She knew her sister kept a close eye on the brood while she was out.

She would be back up, in case it was needed.
