Ice blue eyes studied the crystals that faintly glowed within their chamber. She did not feel well and wanted little to do with the outside.

Soon she would move through the chambers, checking up on the remaining hatchlings. But never once would she near the waterfall that protected the lair's entrance. No. She would wander the halls and the library.

Then move back to her chambers. There she would coil up and stare at one of the puzzles her mate had given her, before absently moving pieces into place.

There had been times, when the black did not know what to do. This was one of those times.

She had seen her sister upset before. Many times. but never this upset.

The blue had not eaten anything since she returned, nor had she spoken a word. Both things unusual for her little sister.

She would just have to keep an extra eye on her. Sitting out in the hallway, she watched Icer as she absently tinkered with the puzzle.

She knew her sister hated puzzles.

The young drake moves into the lair, His blue eyes looks around for the home. He didn't have the childhood his siblings had. He moves toward his parent's room, stopping when he saw his aunt.

"Is this not a good time?' He asked, softly.

*He slept deeply in the chamber with his mate. His armor hidden, the fatigue had finally overtaken him, and he had fallen asleep yesterday, and was still asleep with no signs of waking. Even completely unconscious, he knew his mate was near. He wouldn't leave her side, or the lair again. He had worried his family too much, and he would keep his word and rest, for the time being.*

Bit by bit, day after day, the woman's memory was returning to her. Calm and collected, she appeared in the Lair, twilight gaze flickering over the rooms and corridors as she took a walk down memory lane. Pausing at her sister's door, her eyes turned in, golden sparks blossoming at the sight of her saddened sibling.

Standing there in silence for several moments, she watched before dutifully approaching the dragoness and placing her palm on smooth icy scales. "Come, talk with me, let's walk through your home to the sand pit and soak our scales."

She left it up to her sister as she knelt down and aided her in the puzzle.

She glanced toward her slumbering mate, then her sister as she appeared and nodded. The puzzle had been giving her problems anyways.

I do not want to go outside right now. But we can talk, I suppose.

Ren stood and moved out of Icer's chamber, allowing her to choose if she wished to follow. Taking her deeper into the lair, she lead them to the back where the pits awaited. Glittering black sand was used to sooth ached scales and help shed broken ones or dried ones. She didn't shift however, she just looked to it.

Taking a seat on the edge she spoke softly," Speak with me, tell me what it is that's bothering you so Icer?" She couldn't promise to comfort her sister, she merely wanted to be there so that her sister could vent all she desired.

She would follow until they came to the pit. But instead of slipping inside, she settled on the outer edge.

I am tired....Everything we do. It does not seem to matter. Everything is wrong.

I am supposed to relax, but it seems every day it is nothing but bickering, arguing.

"Doesn't seem to matter to whom, Icer?" Ren looked to her, tri-pointed ears twitching to the sounds around them. She leaned against her sister and looked to the glittering sand with a small smile. Then she glanced back to the dragoness, one brow arched. "Relax" You never relax, you're head strong in everything I've seen you do. Are you getting old on me?"

To many it seems. I am trying to do everything I can for them, but..shaking her head, before murmurring to Ren.

It is for my health. Or what may be left of it.

"Icer....How many times must I tell you to stop focusing on others and their issues and start doing things for yourself?" She studied her sister, one brow lifted. "There is far too much happening on Rhy'din for you to consume yourself with worry over. You cannot do everything, you have far too many hatchlings to tend to, and when you add the worries of the outside world you stretch yourself so thin that you get like this."

She paused and thought a little.

"An average human can hardly handle anything over two to three pets. You are a dragon, but I think that once you got over 20 children you strained yourself far too much." Gentle smile to her sister, her eyes warm and comforting," You spread yourself mentally and physically, while trying to aid the community and your family. Did you forget that you're not the only one here with this world in their best interests" Take a break from stressing over the big things and the small things. There's only so much you can do." Her hand smoothed over Icer's scales.

"You are not a god Icer, you cannot accomplish everything....I don't even think a god tries as much as you do."

I suppose they do nae....I have some tea to help me try and relax.

It helps sometimes. We were going to go on vacation...But now..

Maybe I will just stay here for some time.

"Go on your vacation Icer. I will watch the lair. You need this." She smiled as she nestled against her. "The world of Rhy'din will survive without you, promise."

Ren kicked her boot off and then her sock before sticking it into the sandy pool. "You know, this is good for your scales."

I do nae know...I would rather stay here. There is nowhere right now that I need to go.

She considered the sand a moment, before poking at it with a talon.

Click, clack, click, clack. The sounds of talons down the corridor sound out as a familiar red dragon, about the size of a large dog, shuffled his way through the Shimmerscale lair, searching for his friends.

Slipping into the chamber with the sands, he looked between Icer and her sister. Curlying himself up beside Icer, he peeked up at the dragoness.

"You should go on holiday Icer. You need it"

Peeking up at her before looking into the black sand pit as well.

There would be a blink as the red joined them, but she gave a smile to Art. Recognizing him in his dragon form.

Perhaps we will. But right now we should work on the lair a little more. A glance to her sister, then Art. Arthour, this is my sister Ren.

Arthour

He bowed his head to Ren, a smile playing on his lips,

"A pleasure to meet you Ren. Most call me Art, so if you prefer. It may also help keep anyone from getting confused with me and Aurthur as our names sound alike"

Another smil to Ren, then he turns his gaze up at Icer once more,

"I really think you should go my friend. It would do you some good"

I would have to agree with them my dear, it would do us both a world of good. *Aurthur wandered in to the sand bathing chamber, his eyes a little red, but for someone who had slept like the dead as long as he had, this was probably normal.* I think a week to ourselves, with no worries or cares is just the thing. And hopefully when we return, things will have sorted themselves out. *Nodding his head to Art in greeting, tilting his head to the woman he had never seen before.*
