The Summer's heat helped the plants to grow. Honeybees buzzed about the iceflowers that grew within the shade of the twin oaks. Others flit amongst the gardens while birds broke into song.

Dragonlings played within the small ponds, and the lake's edge under the watchful eyes of their mother.

A cold blanket gave some comfort, though the little blue had taken up a shady spot beneath a sugar maple. Aurthur rested inside, while her sister Stormy, and the guards Damean and Tiamatus took their turns at post.

Fruits had just started to swell. Apples and pears, peaches and berries, while tempting, still needed time upon the trees and bushes to ripen.

Solaria moved closer, carefully bumping her mothers snout with her own. The gold soon joining her beneath the maple. You are not too warm, are you, mother? A smile, and a careful nuzzle given to her daughter there. Nae. The shadows are helping.
