Ice blue eyes focused upon the gardens from her favored ledge. The wind had started to pick up, swirling deciduous leaves around the forest. Trees were receiving their Autumn colors. But the chill in the air was welcome.

Nearby, the guards, Tiamatus and Damean sat in silence, watching the territory from their posts.

Chipmunks frolicked about, gathering nuts for the coming Winter, and nearby, a few dragonlings frolicked about the pumpkin patch. All within the watchful gaze of their mother.

The tip of her tail twitched faintly. A few things catching her eye. Fuzzy seeds floated lazily upon the breeze from a seed pod that split, bringing the promise of regrowth to the gardens in the future. Bees still buzzed around their hive, and a few straggling flowers that clung to life.

Apples and pears grew upon the trees, leaving the promise of sweets for later.
