The leaves had just started turning their brilliant reds and oranges, golds and browns. Momma had settled on her favored perch, watching as the little ones played within the gardens.

A few children peeked under leaves to find the pumpkins swelling there, while others played games of tag. Chasing their siblings around. A few leaves broke free swirling on the breeze. Soon they would gather the harvest to put away for Winter. But there was enough time for that later.
