The package appeared in a safe place where Icer was sure to find it at her home. It was a somewhat large box, about the size perfect for a child to crawl in and hide. It was wrapped with opalescent shimmering paper and matching curly string tied so pretty and all piled in the center atop the box. Some of the strands were flowing from the center and over the sides of the box.
There was a note attached:
Dear Icer,
Happy Birthday! I'm sorry I won't be able to really see you on your Birthday, but I wanted to drop this by for you. I thought it was so pretty, I just had to give this to you. It's also magical and can protect your thoughts. Oh, and the other stuff I hope I bought enough to cover you. Let me know how it goes. Anyway, hope you enjoy and have a wonderful time. May you experience many more birthdays to come.

p.s. Hope you don't mind all the boxes. Just couldn't decide which one to use. They were all so pretty! So you get them all.
Indeed, upon opening the lid of the first box, there was another inside that one ....and one in that one and one in that one....in all there were about ten different boxes with lids all decorated just as pretty as the next but with different colors and patterns. In boxes number six, seven, eight and nine, there was a tube of vanishing cream in each box. The last gift was finally found in the tenth box. It was a gold amulet of mind shielding. There was another small paper with instructions on how to use it:
Simply wear it and think of a towering fortress around the mind to activate it. There will be an invisible force around your mind to shield it from others being able to see, hear, or otherwise sense your surface thoughts and feelings. It works both ways, you won't be able to see, hear, or otherwise sense other people's surface thoughts and feelings. To Deactivate the effect, think about that tower blowing up or some other destructive obliteration to the fortress. Or simply wait an hour for the effect to wear off naturally.
