Snow had been out after she caught the scent of her father talking to Icer's momma. She was looking for Tiamatus when it happened. The red Wyvern from so long ago lunged down on her and attacked with all fury and vengence of her beastly nature. As she fought back Icer's mother came to her aid with a swift response.

Together they pushed back the wyvern and made sure to remind her why it was not right to mess with Icer's clan. However the damage was done. Snow was badly wounded, burned, and having a hard time breathing. Snowstorm kept healing her until the extent of the damage was undone, but was it enough.."

Nexus grevious of what he had just seen from his young egg, the first egg ever to be released into Rhy'Din by him he swooped her back up. There was much that troubled him since he had recived the egg, perhaps it was time to reveal more to the young dragoness. Time would tell.

However, Snowstorm would go back to the lair, she would have news to report to Icer and Arthur, Snow's parents. Tiamatus would have to be found as well. The truth of the matter is nexus had taken Snow and not specified when she would be back. Few days, a few weeks, it was hard to guess with that thing every now and then.

Snowpearl Silverwing....was....offically....missing.

Was there something else to all this" Snow would have never left without letting her mate know, then again something had been off about Snow the night she had been taken. She was desperate to see her mate and when she didn't find him she had coiled up to hide the night away on a roof top.

Snow....Where has she gone? The poor dragoness, right when her children were hatching.

Showers of stars fell from the sky beside itself with grief it seemed. When the news came to the ears of her parents and her mate the sky was sure to fall. Grief would be high, but in all hopes the white would be back. Of course she would be back. Snow would never leave her dear heart and their family behind. For now nexus just had a few things to show the dragoness of the world she had never managed to know. About her true parents the dragons, Vinra and Cathane.

"Tiamatus?" She turned on her side as she groaned. There was a wave of sickness and she covered her face, her face" Gasping she turned on her feet as she took in her human form. Silver white hair draped over her shoulders as steel blue slited eyes gazed about," Where am I?"

"Dear child, you are so beautiful." Came a woman's voice as it echoed in the darkness. There was a break as tears flowed freely from a ghostly figure. Hand reached out as she gave a tender nod. White as the stars hair fell over her shoulders and pale eyes glimmered as she looked at Snowpearl. Sobbing she spoke again in a gentile voice," Hello dear sweet Alana. My little girl."

A man's hand was placed over the woman's shoulder as he came into view. Ghostly as well he nodded to Snowpearl. A kind smile was on his face as blue spiked hair glimmered in spikes over his head. There was a calm air about the two. His head bowed softly as crystal blue eyes, Snow's eyes, looked back at her," Hello my dear child, our sweet Alana."

Snow was frozen on her feet. Swallowing she chewed on her bottom lip as pale hands flexed. She didn't know what to do or what to say. Her mouth was dry as she spoke lightly," Am I dead?" There was a swell of fear in her voice. She had so much she didn't want to leave behind, the pain was harsh and gut wrenching.

The woman smiled tenderly as her head shook softly," No, you're not." There were more tears in her eyes as she reached up and took the man's hand. They seemed almost at a loss for words in their features as the woman stepped forwards," I'm your mother Alana." Tender was still her essence, her features still kind, and her eyes glittered with love for her beautiful child.

The man seemed to remain silent as he stood there, tears glimmering in his own eyes as he looked at Snow with the same love and tenderness as Snow's mother. Soft features were over his clothes as he whispered softly," And I'm your father Alana."

Snow was frozen in her spot, she had known Icer and Arthur weren't her parents, but to see her real parents like this. There were too many emotions. Tears were forming in her eyes as she stayed in her frozen spot. Fingers seemed to have stopped flexing as she gazed at the two. There was a shake in her head as she stepped forwards," I" What happened to you?"

The man spoke this time as the woman broke out in wild sobs and cries. Shaking her head she buried her face into his chest," We got lost' In the nexus. I don't even think he knew we were here. Until it was too late." Caressing his mate's back he lowered his head and whispered softly to her," Come now love. Please, we have to relish in this time with our child." Head lifting his blue eyes took in Snow again as he asked lightly," Where is your brother?"

Snow arched a brow and frowned softly as she whispered," Brother?" There was no talk of another egg, nor of more kin that had fallen like her. There was nothing of that sense in any way.

Terror filled the woman's eyes as she shook her head. The loss of one child seemed to be hard to bare even after death. Snow was the only thing that had seemed to given them hope that their other child was alright. They wanted the best for both of their children, but the fact that their daughter was the only one left alive troubled them greatly," Cathane!"

He looked down at the woman as she sobbed up at him. Brushing hair from her face he whispered," I know Vinra, but at least, Alana is alright. At least she's alright." He looked up at Snow and opened an arm. He was still fighting back tears as he said," Can your old man at least get a hug?" His voice was trying to show that even in the light of the dark news he could show love and joy for his daughter's full life.

Snow rocketed forwards and buried her face in her father's chest. Together the family seemed to be united, even if it was for a small time. Tears were flowing freely from all of them as stories were told of the life, the world before the nexus stole their lives. Snow had a brother somewhere out there still waiting to be hatched. There was a air about her life and what would have been that made her almost wish to have it, but then she would have waited longer to find Tiamatus.

When the two parents found out about the Shimmerscales and their kindness to their daughter they were delighted to the point of wanting to find some way to come back, just so they could meet the kind dragons who raised their child so well. There was also delight about the fact that their little girl had a mate. It seemed to them that the prospect of their family continuing through love and happiness was more then they could have ever asked for. And they beamed with pride to hear about Odela and the two hatchlings waiting at home.

It was then that Vinra warned Snow," Females of our kind are usually independent at birth. They do not enjoy being confined, it's the same for those blessed by the royal Alorians. They are seen as trouble and little terrorists, but it's the nature that they cannot help but have."

Chuckling he shook his head as he looked to his daughter at his mate's words," I was looking forwards to having my little terrorist. There's an average of two eggs per mating cycle" Our kind can have up to six clutches." Pride was in his heart as he sat there," You and your brother were to be our first clutch. We were moving to find a safer world to raise you two, but as we said, Nexus." There was a blank and rage filled look in his eyes as he shifted slightly.

Together the family talked for days so that Snow would know everything. Calmly there was a change in the glow of the two parents. They seemed to have found a reason to be at peace from the time they had shared with their daughter. The mates were at last able to cross over if they wished to, but it seemed they were not going to rest until they found out what had happened to their son.

As time passed there was little more to say. Soon Snow was eager to return home to her heart and children. The parents knew this and on day four they gave her their blessing and in turned hugged and kissed their child good bye. Tears flowed again from all three, but this time Snow had got the chance to see that her parents did never abandon her. They loved her deeply and now she knew that.

Snow was ready to head home and Nexus was almost ready to return her. As she turned to leave she was stopped by a small object at her feet. Looking down at the crimson egg that shined and shimmered like the shell's of her kind she swallowed. Kneeling down she scooped it up and looked at it. Turning to show her parents she saw that they had gone. Whispering softly she smiled tenderly as she looked back down at the egg," Hello brother?"

Tear streaked down her face as she glanced around, turning again she was placed at the entrance of her lair. Gulping lightly she called out to the world before her," Tiamatus"!" Stepping forwards she made her way closer to the opening of the lair. How long had she been gone? Snow didn't know it had been quite a few days.

::Tiamatus had been all but lost while his mate was gone. He could not rightfully say how long she had been gone, only that his heart ached every second and the tears never seemed to stop, especially when he lay awake at night, staring at the lair's entrance, waiting and hoping that she would return. He had thinned badly, and his eyes were bloodshot. Very little did he eat, and even less did he sleep while he waited. The only things that kept him alive were Odela, Timiaus, and the unhatched egg.

He was in the process of feeding Timiaus when he had thought that he heard his name being called, and his head snapped up, looking towards the lair's entrance. When she did not come, he sighed sadly, and a wave of fresh pain seized his heart. He thought that he may be beginning to halucinate now, and returned to feeding his son. But when his name was called again, he KNEW that it was her, and his heart raced as it had when he had first met her, and when they had taken their mateship flight.

His body was tensed up, ready to fly out of the cave if need be.:: "My beloved Snow! Where are you?! Please......please come back to me....to us!" ::The tears were in his eyes again, and he waited, hoping and praying that this was not some horrible halucination sent by the gods to torment him more than he had already been.::

Snow heard his voice and the pain behind it and her heart sank. How much pain had she put him through' Clutching the egg in her human arms she called out again," Tiamatus! Beloved I am here!" Gulping she couldn't shift because the egg required warmth. She was shaking because this form was so demanding. There was another cry echoing from her lips," Timatus, I cannot shift....I'm here, but I need your help to get in the lair!"

Oh how this form was so insufficant. As she looked at the opening she groaned she didn't want to climb or the egg would break. Her brother would be lost and she owed it to her parents to keep this egg as safe as her little ones. She had hardly caught a glimpse of her son. Worry for her children seemed to be so great that she ached just as much to see them as she was aching to see her mate.

A new fear was in her heart. This form had only been seen once by him and she was worried that in the day light, he'd loathe her for being in this form. Biting her lip she looked down at the crimson egg in her arms and swallowed as she whispered to it," Brother you are so much trouble..." Chuckling she hugged the egg and then looked back up at the opening," Tiamatus can you come get me?!" Okay, this was growing more imbarassing and her cheeks showed it.

::Tiamatus motioned for his son to stay with his sister's egg and protect it, and he was on his feet and out of the lair in seconds. Against the mornings light, he was a streak of silver against the sky as he spiraled slowly downwards. At first, he did not see her, and there was a twinge in his heart, for he thought that perhaps he had been hearing things after all. As he got closer to the ground, however, his vision focused, and he caught the gleam of light off of the red egg, and the human who was holding it.

Tiamatus may have seen her human form only once before, but he remembered, and he knew now that his beloved was home! His heart filled with warmth, and the joy that he had thought was lost to him forever refilled him with a surge as though a tidal wave had come over him, and he touched down lightly to the ground, folding his wings neatly along his back. It was all he could do to keep from throwing himself upon her and asking the questions that he longed to ask, but he knew there would be pleanty of time for that later. Instead he lowered his snout and kissed her cheek, leaning his head against her and closing his eyes as the silent tears rolled down his cheeks.::

"My beautiful, beloved heart. How i have missed you.....How WE have missed you. I have truely been lost without you. ::Motioning down to his much reduced body.:: "Odela pretty much had to force food down my throat, and I hardly ever slept, but when i did, i always dreamt of you, and I felt the pain just as vividly as though I were awake." ::He shook his head lightly as he picked her up in his arms and spread his wings, taking her back inside the lair, home where she belonged.:: "Welcome home, my darling."

Snow was rocking the egg while she waited silently. Protecting it as if it was her own she bit her lip as she looked up. There was a intake of breath as she watched that silver streak leave the lair. As he spiraled down to her, her heart lept with delight. Biting her lip she waited for him to land and as he got closer she knew he had spotted the egg.

She knew almost instantly that he had recognized her. There was another wave of relief as she stood there watching him land. She was home indeed and she wasn't going any where. Tears were biting at her eyes as she saw how much he had thinned, how tired he looked, there was a pang of guilt for leaving him so long. The urge he felt to pounce her was taking her over as she stood there biting her bottom lip. Cradling it close to her when he kissed her cheek she hugged his snout the best she could and sobbed with him. Skritching at his chin she kissed his cheek as well as she nessled into him. Tears falling down her own cheeks as she hugged him tightly.

When he spoke she felt her heart swelling and then another pang as she looked over him again. Pride for her daughter and her assertiveness made her almost laugh if it wasn't so serious. As she was picked up in his arms she nuzzled his chest softly and buried her face there warmly. Tears still falling from her cheeks as she was returned to their home. Indeed where she belonged. Patting his chest and nuzzling him she smiled softly," Tiamatus....I would like you to meet, my brother." Holding up the egg of crimson she showed it to him before she moved to set it down next to her son who she gladly scooped up and hugged tightly with a kiss to his forehead.

Setting him down next to the eggs and kissing his forehead again she turned on her heels. Closing her eyes the human form shifted slowly into the white dragoness Tiamatus knew and loved so well. Yet it was different. Cuts and scrapes minor in proportions glimmered still ripe with fresh blood that dripped slowly from the opened flesh. She had been healed greatly, but being stuck in her human form and hindered the healing process greatly. Slumping down with a wince she lowered her head to nuzzle her son again and rumbled," Momma's home." Was said with a rather weakened voice.

Slowly the long neck lifted as she looked back to Tiamatus," It was that wyvern again....She came out of no where and attacked me." Wincing as she setled down next to son and eggs she wrapped her tail around all three as she rested her head softly on her paws. Closing her eyes she whispered," Nexus took me....And I....I....I got to see my parents." She wanted to answer all of Timatus' questions, she owed it to him. Owed it desperatly to him.

Odela was peeking out of her room to her mother and father before she edged out of it slowly. Plopping down next to her mother she nuzzled her softly as she whispered," Welcome back mother..." She had known and she had tried to get her father to understand that. Odela was friends with Nexus after all!

Snow swallowed and sighed softly as her eyes closed, she was glad to be warm and at home where her family was there to be her support. She had missed them despite the meeting with her mother and father. Looking to Tiamatus she spoke lightly," I'm sorry I worried you my heart. I am so sorry."

::He smiled softly as he laid his head down on his paws, looking up at his beloved.:: "You have absoluetly nothing to be sorry for, my dearest heart. None of it was your fault, and i know that you wouldn't do something like intentionally leave with no word for so long just to hurt me, especially with children waiting for you as well. No, i never blamed you, not once, my beloved. I was worried yes, but never once did i get angry, nor did I fear, because i knew that you would return to us.

Though i did worry every moment of every day, and I stayed mostly right here looking at the entrance to the lair, waiting for you to come back. I rarely ate, i barely slept, i just watched, waiting. Then Timiaus was born, and my time was occupied with him, but while he slept, and while i was feeding him, again i would watch for you. In due time, i will recover completely, and all will be well again. I am not gravely injured, nor am I that far gone as to be beyond recovery. A few good meals, and i will be just fine......And i will also rest alot easier to know that you are here where you belong again.

I should like to hear about your visit with your parents, though, if you would wish to speak of it. I would like to know everything that has transpired because of your absence......" ::He leaned his head up and kissed her cheek lightly, curling his body around hers before laying his head back down again. It wasn't more than a moment or two after he had laid his head down that he was very soundly asleep. He even looked as though he were sleeping blissfully, for there was a small smile on his muzzle, and in that first few moments of slumber, he gained more sleep than he had the entire time his beloved was gone.::
