Her sister was still gone, so too was the male. The black frowned as she moved from room to room, checking up on each of the children.

It had been six days now with no sign of either. She couldn't leave without being tailed by the guards, so she would stay at home.

Looking out onto the gardens that her sister so loved. She had no choice in the matter. She would take over the tasks that her sister saw to day to day.

The first task she would see to after making sure the children were fed, would be to reweave the wards. None would pass without her knowing. No unknowns would enter, unless she gave her say.

Moving back down towards one of the nurseries, she would smile as a taloned finger gently brushed over her sleeping daughter. The toddler finally sleeping soundly in her crib.

They were all her children now, and she would care for each as only a mother could.

Their safety was her first priority.
