When in the Springtime of the year, when the trees are crowned with leaves. When the Ash and Oak, and the Birch and Yew are dressed in ribbons fair.

Springtime had come, and the buds within the gardens were just starting to swell. Ice flowers gave way to patches of Forget-me-nots and wild violets.

Once finished with her rounds, checking up on the little ones, the little blue slid out onto her favored perch.

Settling there, she'd relax, overlooking the gardens. There would be a bit more work to do, but for now, she could just relax.

Slipping from her perch, soon the little dragoness wandered among the Forget-Me-Nots. Gathering up a few, she would slip toward the twin oaks, and under the great sheltering trees which sheltered the dead.

Laying the flowers amongst the graves of her Great grandbabies, she would sit for a moment, before slipping off again.

There was another pathway she wanted to explore.

Maples and conifers grew together, their branches stretching out to the sun. Birds twittered, and sang as she walked below, and branches crunched under foot.

Leaf litter outlined the pathway, feeding the wildflowers that popped up here and there. Lily of the Valley, wild violets, and ferns hid within shaded corners, and on fallen logs. Ivy clung to tree trunks, and berry bushes Flowered, a wonderful find for sure. And one that would keep her mind at ease.
