Autumn had arrived, and with it all the work to ready the lair for the coming Winter. Apples and pears were gathered from the trees they grew upon and sent to the larder, along with the many squash and vegetables the garden provided.

Hunts brought with them fresh meat and fish which soon were frozen using her icy breath. It would last longer in the chilled cavern that way.

Leaves were falling, and the newest siblings, Seabreeze and Susie kept close by, watching their parents and siblings.

A smile was sent to the pair as she nudged an apple each their way. A little treat for their newest adopted.

Soon only the pumpkins were left within their patch. Left to swell a little longer.

Settling under a tree, momma stayed watchful as the little green and blue tumbled through the leaves, playing as hatchlings and even younglings did.

They would be ready for the cold weather, and whatever guests might come.
