The past few days had been lovely. Most of the days spent with the hatchlings and her older dragonlings. Time was spent exploring the gardens.

Aurthurious and Icillia lead the way, while Harrow and Soleil stuck close to their older sister.

It wouldn't be long before the dragonlings darted from one flower to the next. Peeking inside should a bee or a butterfly be there, before moving on. Trees, and vines, and bushes all were explored, and momma even received a bouquet of iceflowers.

There was chuckle and nuzzle as she soon lead her kin to a lonely patch of soil.

While she worked at the soil with her talons, a few younglings watched intently, but the younger were more facinated by the insects. She kept an eye on them, just in case.

Do not travel far yet. Perhaps when we are done here, I will take you all for a walk on one of the unexplored pathways.

The promise had the younglings chirping, and chittering with glee. Being couped up for the Winter had gotten to them, and now they were stretching their legs and wings.
