Making her way down the stairs, light blue wings unfurled, and muscles tensed as she pushed off the ground, the dragon hovering for a moment, then gliding off toward her lair.

It had been a few days since she'd last eatten, her cold preventing her from being able to catch the scent of her prey, her cold now gone, she lifted her snout to the breeze, catching the faint scent of wyverns...prey.

Wingbeats were steady yet silent as she approached the source of the scent, a young bull wyvern, looking as though he'd just been cast from his clan was moving near the lair, his wings tattered as if he'd been in a major battle, most likely one of dominance that he lost.

Catching scent of the creature's blood, the dragon knew that it would be only time before the wyvern would succumb to his injuries, and landing nearby, just out of sight, she waited patiently, watching as the bull weakly lapped up water from the lake just off her lair.

She didn't have long to wait at all, finishing his drink, the bull turned to move off into the nearby forest, and grunted, before slumping to the ground, his injuries taking there final toll.

Moving from her hiding spot, the dragon approached the fallen creature, pausing a moment, to nudge the wyvern with her snout, it didn't respond, then parting her jaws, she clamped onto the wyvern's neck, dragging the bull's limp body into the lair. Moving aside, she let her young and sister feed first, then when they had their fill, she started to feed, the bull would make a descent meal for the next few days, finishing her dinner, she then coiled up around her young and drifted off to sleep.
