The Summer brought with it heat. High temperatures kept the little dragon deep within their cool lair. At times, momma would sit just inside the entranceway, watching the water from the falls flow down the mountainside. Landing within the frigid lake below.
Other times, were spent within the library, reading to the children, checking on her sister Stormy, or exploring the caverns.
Solaria tended the gardens by day when the heat was too much for her mother to take. Bringing fresh flowers into the lair for her mother and kin to enjoy.
At nightfall, when the temperatures dipped, momma would slide out of the lair to enjoy a soak within the frigid lake. Basking in the light of the twin moons, the little dragon peered toward the path that led toward the Inn.
