The young one awoke early one morning, and since everyone was still asleep, he decided to explore. Wandering from room to room, he found the general area where Lang and Winter's rooms were, Shadow (and soon Kuja)'s room was. Lots of slipping and sliding later he found his way back to Shad's room. With a small collection of shiny things; a gold chain, silver ring, various small gems, and a few bits of metal.

Softly purring he went in, slightly surprised to find that her room was empty...Ah well, it served his purpose better. Finding a corner, he scratched steadily, digging a hole. Deeper and deeper. Until he had a hole that he had to jump into, and out of. He dropped everything in, and added a gold rose he found on the ground nearby. In a flurry of dirt and motion, it was all buried.

Curling up on top of his small hill, he dozed off.

Shad had returned, and as she walked past she noticed that her door was open. Standing there a moment, maybe it was Kuja" She slid open the cracked door, smiling then at the sight of her brother.

Heading away from that area she went looking for Mama, mainly to ask about Grandpa; though her mission changed on the way through. She saw that lots of small shiny things were missing. Pausing in the main chamber she continued to look. "Mama?"

She blinked for a moment at Mama. "Why's Starie in my room' And what was he burying" All the little shiny things are gone from that area.." A slow blink, then she remembered her original reason for wanting to find her, and her promise yesterday. She inhaled slowly. "Um...Have you heard from Kuja" Or from a Fae named Willow?"

Head on her forehead she giggled. "That's true...I'd forgotten about that.." Taking a moment she looked back up to Mama. "We need to watch for Willow...She was raped by a green dragon-ish male, and since has been terrified of all males...I was thinking that here at least, she wouldn't be able to tell gender...And might lose some of her fear once she realized that boys can be nice..

"I also figured that having you and Auntie Storm around might help her relax. You guys are good at appearing scary, and I think the knowledge that she's protected will help.." Her words were soft, it sounded a bit like she was still uncertain of her logic.
