Ice blue eyes scanned the shelves within their library. The dragoness knew she should be studying, but her mind was on other things.

Mostly, what to get her mate for the upcoming holiday. Talons tapped lightly against the floor. They never used the gold and gems of their horde, save as a bed, and her mate wasn't one to wear jewels, save the mating ring.

Food was always a plus, though their larder was still full of wyverns and fish, Aurthur had started raising cattle and sheep as well, so food was not something that was running low.

Flowers perhaps?, Ice blue eyes still drifting over the comfy chairs they'd placed about for guests, and the plush rugs.

Maybe another bottle of scale oil, scales tended to dry out easier in the colder winter months, and that left the dragons itchy.

Finally her gaze fell back upon the bookshelves, they still seemed a bit bare, though her mate had gathered as many books as he could have carried.

A grin upon her snout. She finally knew the perfect gift for her mate, she hoped.

Slipping on her wing pouch, the dragoness soon was quietly moving out of the library and down the hall. Pausing once to peek in on her slumbering mate.

A smile grew upon her snout as she slunk past their room, being oh so very careful not to wake Aurthur in her passing.

Down the long hall and to the ledge that lay just behind the waterfall.

Wings unfurled then, testing the wind, the spray from the falls misting her scales, helping her to stay cool.

Soon she was market bound.

Returning from her market trip, a smile played upon her snout as she slid quietly back into the lair.

Down the maze of tunnels, back to the room she shared with her mate.

Ever so carefully, she slid the new spell book from her wingpouch setting it gently beside Aurthur.

A grin given, along with a gentle kiss, and soon she had retaken her spot at his side, slipping into a peaceful slumber herself.
