The dragoness glided through the forest with ease, clutching the hatchling close to her body as she flew, the last thing she knew the little one would need was to get a chill.

Circling around, she glided through the waterfall, shielding the kitten size black hatchling from the spray, then landing inside, she moved furthur inside, past the main living chamber and down another tunnel that led to where she had nested.

A gentle nuzzle to her sleeping mate as she passed, then she gently lay the hatchling in the nest along with her others, giving a soft rumbling purr as she nuzzled the tiny black.

Wrapping herself protectively then around the sleeping hatchlings, she leaned her head down to whisper a name to the tiny newborn, a name that she had promised a friend, Shadow...Shadow Isthru-Yersa..

She smiled to the hatchling as the tiny female woke, giving the black a gentle nuzzle. Speaking softly to the little one, that is you little one, your new name, and this is your home.

Momma had just awoken, and blinked as the tiny squeal was heard in her head, counting her hatchling she blinked, then hurried down the tunnel.

wings snapped open as she dove out of the lair, into the water below, and finding her newest daughter, she swam to the surface, the tiny black grasped in her jaws.

Pushing out of the lake, she took wing once more, landing inside as she carried Shadow back through the tunnels, and to the nest again, where she lay the hatchling, lowering her snout to make sure she was still breathing.

A nuzzle to the hatchling, getting a shower as little Shadow shook herself off. Yes, well don't go swoosh again little one, at least, not unless one of us are with you, you could have been hurt, or worse.

Lowering her snout then to a piece of meat nearby, she tore off a few pieces, shredding them easily, then feeding them to the hatchling.
