While her beloved was away, she descided she would go exploring, her wings rustling as she slid out the front door. Wings snapped open as she moved from the porch, and thrust downwards, as her hindlegs pushed off the ground , then she was airborne. Finding a thermal, she glided along over the crowded town issuing a few gasps and points, plus whispers, yet the majority of the people had simply gone about there own business. Blue eyes scanned the land as she glided along, stopping only a moment as she hovered over a stream, stretching her neck to drink, nostrils quivering as she took in the scents around her, where was she going?...She would visit her big brother, Tass, and following the directions he had given awhile back, she came to land apon the ground in front of the Library, folding her wings as she slowly moved inside. ::The books...she'd never seen so many, yet determined, though she did not see him, she called out with her mind::<<Big brother...hello>> and after pausing to look around at the books again, she finished the sentence> <<I have come for my lesson.>>

He had felt the little one as she approached, and a smile crossed his lips. She was expanding out, finding more around her than just the walls of the RDI. That was good.

When she crossed the threshold of the library, he nodded. She came seeking knowledge. Perhaps she was not too young after all for a mate. Only time would be able to see this one through, as he had told her mate, Arthur, the previous night.

Looking over, he smiled a small smile to the one that had fallen asleep at the books, and now was resting in the large bed in the corner, wrapped in the old blankets. It was good, as well, that Sid had finally found some rest. She would need it for the trials that were coming.

Closing the book, he turned from the table he sat at and moved down the stairs from the third floor to the first. He would soon have to make another basement to this place. Even with the magical enchantments he had placed within the building to hold many and more than the walls should be able to, he was quickly running out of room. Such was the price of this place and its magic's within the pages that it housed.

Upon reaching the bottom step of the stair, his smile grew a bit more. The look of awe that the little one had tried to hide at the sight of so many books was still written on her face. It would be interesting to see what look she brought once she learned what was in them.

"Well....it is wonderful to see you out, little sister. Welcome to the Athenaeum."

Thank you big brother, she was still gazing around at all the books, as she moved slowly towards him, her eyes scanning the titles, before she finally reached his side. I'm sorry I've not come sooner big brother, pausing a moment a friend taught me to defend myself and I..was afraid to ask for help, now looking to her brother with her ice blue eyes. I'm not afraid to ask anymore, giving a smile, now where do we start?

His smile was one of understanding. It took much to concur one's fear. It was good that she had done so. It would help her in the days that were to come.

"Little sister, where you start is simple. You start with yourself. You must first come to understand who you are" what you are. You must first understand what you can and can't do. You need to know your power and limitations. Once you do, then you can build on that and expand on it.?

She lifted her neck, holding her head up proudly, I am a dragon brother.., and as of late. I have not only my icefire, but mother on her visit taught me fire and electricity as well. Blue eyes returning to scanning the books with quite the interest now. I have killed brother, but only in self defense, and I am more alert now than I was before.

She moved from her brother's side, blinking as she looked around, so many books, she was still in awe, and it showed upon her face, she was now ready and willing to learn. Which book first brother?
