As promised, Jade had made the call to the vet. Her appointment was at ten in the morning, on the dot. But the problem was getting Icer there. She was going, God help Jade! This could not be right. Icer could not be pregnant! And the vet would hopefully tell the two just that.

Also as promised, Jade was standing out front of Icer's cavern to go, hands on her hips. She was still black and blue, but that wouldn't stop her. Icer was going. Jade had gotten there exactly an hour before the appointment just in case Icer wanted a fight, which she knew she did. She knew further by the roaring inside.

"Icerrrr!" Hail Mary, mother of God....Jade was going in....Run for it!

::And this was where Aurthur stepped in. Jade may have been family, but Icer was his mate, and she was certainly not going to the vet. If she was heavy with his eggs, and he was fairly certain she was, that made him all the more defensive. He growled a low warning in his throat, spreading his wings wide as he stepped in front of his mate. Over his dead corpse would she be going to a vet.:: "Jade, please turn around, and go home. We have a nest to build, and hatchlings to prepare for....."
