There would be the bodies of three shadowclaws, each one killed a different way, at a different time, and in a different place...First, there would be Sileth Shadowclaw, whom was known for never having the way to defend himself. Face down, in the marketplaces fountain he would be found, with a note nailed into his back that read

'Death is the only way to control magic'

Aris would have been found a day later, his body left right where it had fallen on the lake shore. He'd been poisoned, by one of several pieces of fruit he had bought at the marketplace. It was lucky for the rest of the family, that the fruit hadnt made it to the estate...But for Aris, he wasnt so lucky.

And, finally, a few days later, after leaving to find the murderers of his son....Sento would be found, a bolt laced with dragonsbane embedded in his side, and his scales all but gone. Not only had he been killed for being a 'magical being', but his body had been desecrated, and his scales stolen, likely for the purposes of being sold in the market.

((I'm not playing any of my characters on RDI I'm afraid to say. All of the drama that has been building up, with me constantly being dragged into the middle of it, is ruining the whole experience for me. It's no longer as fun as it used to be.
